Forage AI Reviews & Product Details

The team at Forage AI are true experts in data collection. They have the experience and nuance to tackle complex and unique data problems. They also provide a level of follow-up and follow-through that most other data vendors overlook. While working with Forage the team provided detailed recommendations that helped me understand how to deploy AI, manage costs, and engineer a system that would result in a high quality output. I had no specific dislikes or issues working with the team at Forage AI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Forage scrapes menus from independent restaurant websites for us. While scraping menus has it's own challenges with volume, this specific task had an enormous hurdle with the menu format that each restaurant presented. Forage was able to capture all different sites and organize them in a usable format for our consumption. The best thing about this is that the team didn't rest on their laurels and got better with iteration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Apart from the fact that some deliveries took a bit longer than expected, I don't have much to add here. Even the delays are understandable given the nature of the task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I had a great relationship with the owner, developers, and project managers at Forage AI. I appreciated being able to give honest and open feedback about the initial results, working collaboratively with the Forage AI team to ultimately achieve our desired outcomes, which improved overall analyst productivity and efficiency. Forage AI was thoughtful about the design of their solutions, using cutting-edge technologies to solve problems uniquely and more efficiently than similar products. The automation Forage AI built for our website change detection, for example, was cost-effective and scalable, significantly increasing productivity. Also, the initial setup was extremely easy, and they efficiently integrated solutions directly into analysts' workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I worked with Forage AI in a previous role where their data collection capabilities were foundational to our SaaS product. They played a key role in shaping our data discovery and collection strategy for niche industries, helping us better understand our datasets and prioritize our workflows. With Forage AI, we were able to scale data collection far more quickly than would have been possible internally. Their engineering team was highly effective and made excellent use of our time—keeping momentum high and helping us avoid common early missteps. What stood out most was their thought partnership; they felt genuinely invested in solving our problems, not just delivering against a contract. The collaboration felt authentic and refreshingly different from a typical vendor relationship. Aaron and his team were generous with their time and exceptionally detail-oriented, taking the effort to deeply understand our business and requirements. They handled the majority of QA independently, which kept my involvement focused and efficient. Their input was consistently fast and precise, and the AI-generated outputs were accurate enough to meaningfully validate our human researchers’ work. We were impressed by Forage AI’s dynamic product offering and high-quality service. The initial setup was smooth thanks to a shared understanding of goals and tooling, and their proof-of-concepts delivered immediate value. I would highly recommend Forage AI. Because much of our work involved ongoing discovery, timelines occasionally needed to be adjusted as new insights or edge cases emerged. Forage AI was transparent about these shifts and worked collaboratively with us to recalibrate expectations and priorities as we learned more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I used Forage AI in my previous role at S&P Global and IHS Markit for the high-scale automation of document ingestion. Forage AI stood out with their technical excellence and focus on the gritty details rather than just a theater of high-level project and stakeholder management, which I've experienced with others before. The team had excellent communication skills and were a pleasure to work with. They used the most cutting edge technologies and weren't afraid to rebuild and refactor their tech stack as new technologies became available. The initial setup was great, with a very friendly team that was super efficient, and didn't need to consume our time to get going. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

More on-site presence, but that's really a very minor thing. Everything else was top notch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The time the team, especially Aaron, took to truly understand our problem and objectives made a real difference. It meant we could have a much deeper conversation about how Forage’s expertise could best meet our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The type of work we embarked on requires a lot of iterations, which makes progress slower, though not necessarily a negative on Forage AI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
