Folio is the AI that reads your construction drawings so you don't have to hunt through them. Most takeoff tools make you point and click. Folio lets you ask. It helps speed up the processing of information, which makes it easier to estimate more accurately. It also supports working with sub-contractors, and they are using the platform as well.

**What do you like best about Folio?**

Feels like it was built by someone who actually does pre-con"
Best part? Most construction software feels like it was built by people who've never been on a jobsite. This one actually makes sense to an estimator. Also, love the ability to be able to share chats with the team, we can collaborate easier than with other AI tools. We were looking how to integrate AI into our processes, Folio is our answer.

**What do you dislike about Folio?**

Would like to connect to my email so drawings upload can be done automatically once I receive an invitation to bid.

**What do you like best about Folio?**

Best part? We do a lot of hotel and multi-family. Repeating unit types are a pain manually. With Folio you ask once, apply across 200 rooms. That used to eat days. Their scope breakdown function is huge for our subs, they can price very quick now with the scope very well defined.

**What do you dislike about Folio?**

Dislike? Still need to send the scope breakdown revisions to the vendors, ideally we can invite them to the platform and they can see the latest version live.

Bid process becomes way easier

It helps me search for and summarize information across a set of plans, and it also supports basic takeoffs that I would otherwise have to do manually.

**What do you like best about Folio?**

Folio is the most helpful tool for approaching construction procurement. Their risk matrix tool has been incredibly helpful to identify latent risks when reviewing bid documents.

I haven’t found any downsides while using it

Helping me make first passes and reviews of bid documents, reducing to minutes things that usually took hours
