## Flutter with Android Studio Reviews
  ### 1. Flutter Vs Android Studio

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nithin B. | Associate Quality Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Flutter with Android Studio?**

Which is more straightforward, Android Studio or Flutter?
Ans: Android has a wealth of testing features and excellent documentation. Running tests on your applications is simple with both Gradle and Android Studio. On the other hand, the testing tools provided by Flutter are robust and well suited for the unit, widget, and integration testing of mobile apps. Therefore, Android Studio is simpler than flutter. Additionally, the effectiveness of the user in using any tool kit influences the outcome.

Flutter provides access to native apps and other SDKs since it lets you utilize or reuse your prior javascript, swift, and object code, among other languages.
In flutter studio, the apps are being developed at a rapid pace. It features a function called hot reload, which allows you to rapidly experiment with different settings and correct any issues that may arise.
Flutter also comes in handy when we start coding for cross platforms like mac and android or ios; it builds the packages for both system environments, so we don't have to code separately for IOS or Apk(android).

**What do you dislike about Flutter with Android Studio?**

Without Android Studio installed. Can I still use flutter?
Ans: According to the Flutter installation instructions, you should download Android Studio to create Android applications. You can create and run Flutter applications on an Android operating system or device without doing so.
The apps created with Flutter are frequently large ones.
Browsers do not currently support apps built using Flutter. So, no web applications.
Despite being well-liked, Flutter has not been around long enough to generate a substantial resource base. As a result, much of the material your team writes will be original.
You must learn Dart to work with Flutter because it is not a widely used language.

**What problems is Flutter with Android Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1) Similar to Native App experience.
2) Cross Platform Ios and Android.
3) Reduced Development Time.
4) Easy to use Materialistic Designs.
5) Rendering engines are high-speed compared to any other platform.

  ### 2. Flutter developement using android studio

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Goutam P. | Android developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Flutter with Android Studio?**

Flutter with Android Studio is really easy to use and intuitive, which makes getting started on app development simple—even for more complex projects. Features like hot reload, prebuilt widgets, and solid Dart support make implementation straightforward and smooth. Android Studio’s documentation, active community, and built-in debugging tools are really helpful and make the whole development process less stressful. I use it almost every day for building both Android and iOS apps. Flutter also comes with a wide range of features, like state management, custom widgets, and plugin support, and integrating APIs or native platform code is usually smooth and flexible. Overall, it speeds up development a lot while keeping the process enjoyable and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Flutter with Android Studio?**

Android Studio is known for being quite resource-intensive, which can negatively impact performance, especially on computers with lower specifications. Setting up complex native integrations often demands a significant investment of time and can be rather challenging. Although the community is very active, official support channels sometimes do not respond as quickly as one might hope when addressing specific issues. Additionally, making use of certain advanced Flutter features, such as platform-specific customization, may require further learning or experimentation.

**What problems is Flutter with Android Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Develop apps for both Android and iOS from a single codebase, saving time and effort.

2. Hot reload enables quick testing of UI changes, speeding up development.

3. Simplifies debugging and reduces trial-and-error during development.

4. Easy integration with plugins and native platform APIs.

5. Helps deliver high-quality apps faster and more efficiently.

  ### 3. Seamless cross-platform development tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Flutter with Android Studio?**

Flutter with Android Studio makes app development feel smooth and fast. The hot reload feature is a big time-saver, and I love how many built-in widgets it offers : you can build nice-looking UIs without much hassle. Once you get used to it, the interface feels friendly, and it’s easy to connect with other tools and platforms. It’s also great that you can build for both Android and iOS from the same codebase, which really cuts down on effort, a lot of support is available through out the internet which makes implementing new features fast

**What do you dislike about Flutter with Android Studio?**

The initial setup can be a bit confusing, especially if you're new to it. Sometimes after updates, things break or don't work as expected, which can be frustrating. It also uses a good amount of memory, so if your system isn’t powerful, it might lag or slow down. And while there’s a helpful community, figuring out some errors still takes quite a bit of searching and trial-and-error. With increased frequency of project builds , sometimes the project goes out of sync with no prior errors, ands its confusing when i try to figure out what actually went wrong. Sometimes support for complex solutions are not that easy to find, Sometimes, I don’t use Flutter with Android Studio as often as I’d like because it can feel heavy to start up and slows down on less powerful machines. For quick or small tasks, it’s just easier to use something lighter.

**What problems is Flutter with Android Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flutter with Android Studio makes it much easier for me to build apps that work on both Android and iOS, without having to learn multiple programming languages or juggle separate projects. I save a lot of time, develop faster, and enjoy being able to see changes instantly with hot reload, resulting in better and more polished apps.
