"Great tool to manage cash flow and budgets"

What do you like best about Float?

Float has a good UI, very clear and uncluttered. The tool is responsive and can easily sync with our accounting software. So any updates we do in Xero is reflected into Float pretty quickly. I like the fact you can also set alternate scenarios so that you can map different cash flow forecasts. An absolute lifeline for any business that needs to keep an eye on its cash! What do you dislike about Float?

"Great cashflow forecasting software, perfect for a small business."

What do you like best about Float?

I love the simplicity of the system, how it marries up perfectly with Xero, our accounting software.

It updates instantly, it flags invoiced and bills overdue so great as a quick overview of who needs to be paid etc, and who i need to chase. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You can download your cash flow forecast on the main Cash flow tab, either to CSV or PDF. There are also a few reports within the Insights tab that you can export. Hi, thanks for your review and feedback. You can create new budgets within your scenario layers however I understand you may be talking about using the spreadsheet input into a scenario layer, which you can currently not do. I will pass your feedback on to the product team.

"What Xero is missing"

What do you like best about Float?

A simple to setup, simple to use forecasting tool. The scenario planning is excellent, allowing me to play with multiple future options while staying rooted in the factual. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float?

The most annoying part is the pop up asking you to refresh the page; although it is quite turn-of-the-century quaint Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for forecasting cashflow"

What do you like best about Float?

It took time to get used to and understand what goes where but once I got the hang of Float, it's proved brilliant at showing us our cashflow. The best thing is the 'death date' (our term) which tells us when the money will run out! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float?

"Easy to use forecasting software"

What do you like best about Float?

Easy to use, it allows the user to adjust the budget figures according to your business needs or forecast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float?

There is only one issue, and that is the software does not allow you to budget with multiple bank accounts, for example, if your using a third-party bank for your sales ledger and your current account for your outgoings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Small cost upfront, but the time saved is unbelievable.

You also have a long-standing record of your development and progression. Planning this way makes reflection ever so easy.

What problems is Float solving and how is that benefiting you?

It allows us to be more systematic in our business and move away from non-interactive ways of budgeting.
