If I had to say, only one thing that I liked about ExpanDrive is the number of cloud applications linked to it. When working in a group, from home, from different computers, it is challenging to try to agree on where will stored the documents, and a lot of information ends up lost and disorganized because it is not in the same place. So what I liked about ExpanDrive was the ability to save files from different cloud applications like OneDrive, all in one place. When working in an office, as is my case, saving time is crucial, due to the number of things that must be done in a day. With ExpanDrive, I can save my documents in any cloud application directly; as if I were using a USB memory on my computer, it is a handy tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about ExpanDrive? After trying the application for a while and having listened to some of my colleagues use it, I can say that the only thing that I find not so good in Expandrive. However, I do not consider it to be a huge problem is the availability of the language that is used—located in the app. This is predetermined for the English language, and it is fine, but, thinking of people who do not have a good command of English, it could be an excellent option to make other languages available to the user, so that ExpanDrive is easier to use for all the people who think to do it. On a server as large as this, which can store so much information, it is essential to be very organized. So my advice is to make some folders where you keep specific information, give them recognizable names and remember very well where you control everything. And if you keep this in mind, plus a bit of practice, you will be able to use ExpanDrive like the professionals in no time, and you will be able to get the best out of this application. I have a huge thank you to ExpanDrive for doing my work, both teamwork and personal, so much easier. After starting to use this application, my work team and I put aside the discussions about which server we would store our documents on. We have made better use of our time, each working from different devices but always connected. And I think that this tool has helped me save time and be more efficient in what I do. ExpanDrive is a great application that lets you connect your cloud storage like DropBox or Google Drive to your computer. After connecting, each cloud will be presented in the system as an external drive. You can mark your favorite files to work offline without access to the Internet. When the computer is back online, the edited files are automatically synced to the cloud. ExpanDrive impresses with its ease of setup, which even a novice user can handle. ExpanDrive supports Dropbox, Google Drive, One Drive, and many more. Also through ExpanDrive you can connect to FTP, SFTP, or Web-DAV servers. The advantage of this connection is that these drives will not take up space on the computer, unlike the extensions supplied by cloud services for file synchronization. ExpanDrive-mounted drives can be handled in the same way as a local drive on your computer. Copy files in one direction or another by simply dragging and dropping; open, edit, save files in any application. Purchased license, and it repeatedly stops working, alerts me that my trial has ended. There is no place to enter the serial number. I contacted Support, and the guy was almost mocking. Ridiculous. I uninstalled, re-installed, thinking if I had a fresh install, THEN it would prompt me to enter the serial number. Nope. Same story. Contacted Support, and it's crickets. Fraud. Sometimes the application hangs when uploading multiple files, this could even make the system unresponsive. Customer support is terrible. I bought the app during a sale on their website and got charged the full sum. After a while I finally got in touch with them, and the promised me a refund. After that I never heard from them again and I did not receive the refund. Sometimes file changes are not downloaded for Dropbox. Filemanager integration and offline support does not work on Ubuntu.
