The differences are quickly spotted with Examdiff Pro and you can avoid quickly serious issues. **What do you dislike about Examdiff Pro?** Maybe some more options, but I don't think it would matter, everything is perfect as it is. **Recommendations to others considering Examdiff Pro:** If you need to do pre and post-checks at your work, Examdiff Pro can easily help you avoid any issue **What problems is Examdiff Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** In my work we usually require a pre and post check, Examdiff Pro is helping me find any issues that might be present on a post file. I can quickly spot that and be able to fix it until it's too late. ### 2. The color-coded line numbers make it easy to see each line and compare. **What do you dislike about Examdiff Pro?** What I dislike the most about ExamDiff Pro is it is not compatible with every running system we use. We have to make sure to be using windows xp. Using the correct program to run ExamDiff Pro ensures it works correctly. **What problems is Examdiff Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem we solved with ExamDiff Pro is with our data comparison from our different monitoring programs. We run three various reports and have to compare to get the inclusive data needed to report correctly. This allows us to easily compare the data and create the end report with everything needed. ### 3. The tool has multiple features like scan and search contents, easily merge the texts between documents which is helpful for files and content search. **What do you dislike about Examdiff Pro?** Examdiff doesn’t allow to change the file names while comparing. I used this beginning in the late 2000's and found it useful then and the bells and whistles have only gone up. This allows me to see exactly what changed in a line, show some code highlighting and move changes from left to right doc or right to left. I have never found an instance that it didn't work flawlessly. **What do you dislike about Examdiff Pro?** My initial use sure some things were desired, however, the software is now at a point that it is perfect and easy to use. **Recommendations to others considering Examdiff Pro:** I would consider trying the free version first. Free doesn't include any bells and whistles like highlighting exact code/text in a line that has changed, but it will give you a sense for what the software does and viewing a comparison chart should give you a clear idea of what to expect once you make the change. **What problems is Examdiff Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** Problems between revisions, code reviews, updating comments from previous programmers. This has helped tremendously in all of these areas. ### 5. I would say that software industry is definitely in need of this type of smart applications . **What problems is Examdiff Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am using exam diff pro from the last 3 years .I am using it for my code reading while comparing with the other code so that I will come to know the problem in my code. When I've done a comparison and I need to communicate the results of that to other people, ExamDiff saves an HTML report that perfectly highlights all the diffs and even does the side-by-side scrolling. The reader of the report gets many of the great comparison features without needing the software. The HTML report makes it very easy to see diffs. EDP is well-configured out of the box for intuitive and easy use. But is also configurable for many things like ignores, filters, keyboard navigation, source-code merging, and much more. **What do you dislike about Examdiff Pro?** Hard to think of any complaints... There is one thing - it seems to prefer opening on the primary display always, rather than the display that I last used, or the display of the current EDP window. Minor annoyance, but I wish I could specify which screen is the preferred one for opening new EDP windows. **Recommendations to others considering Examdiff Pro:** I highly recommend it. I prefer this over Beyond Compare by a significant margin. **What problems is Examdiff Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** Quick comparison of files and directories. Most version control systems let you specify external comparison programs, and I use ExamDiff Pro for SVN and CVS comparisons. **What problems is Examdiff Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use ExamDiff Pro to show changes in files before checking them into version control. I use it to compare copies of folders (copied for backup purposes, or to a different computer, etc.). I use it to compare versions of files after other people work on them.
