I have worked with other SIEM solution, it seems to be on paper is easy to use, but when it comes to actual deployment, it's not so user friendly. LogRhythm is indeed a next-gen SIEM comparing to other competitors, reports & web console dashboards are very interactive which my management is pleased with. ### 2. On the dashboards, you can start preparing various graphics and get signals when occurrences are shown. Even though at first LogRhythm UserXDR was a bit tricky for us (especially when it comes to software updates), the vendor was more than happy to correct all the problems we had. Also, it has some great features included, like the UEBA feature, which works quite well as it can clearly outline behavioral patterns and variations in certain areas. **What do you dislike about LogRhythm SIEM?** The usage and configuration can be hard and it can take a lot of work to set the rules. With little or no understanding of these types of platforms, it will not be simple for regular users. **Recommendations to others considering LogRhythm SIEM:** LogRhythm UserXDR is a nice solution for companies that want to incorporate log origins. It offers a variety of actions that are clearly established and that can be easily notified in the dashboard. **What problems is LogRhythm SIEM solving and how is that benefiting you?** LogRhythm UserXDR is a widely used tool within the IT department of my business. The AI and automation offered by this tool were an eye-opening experience, as it allowed us to find a few log origins that were missing from our previous log solution. The way LogRhythm UserXDR solves problems is direct and very simplified. I always keep up to date with the latest releases and goods and I have only great things to say about it. ### 3. Customer service responses quickly, and continues until the problem is resolved. Installation was not difficult, but configuration is the biggest challenge. Linux systems are simple to configure for log forwarding but the Windows side required some research and trial and error. There are some components in my network that had to be upgraded to integrate with the SIEM. **What do you dislike about LogRhythm SIEM?** Configuration is a pain. I have had the device for a 18 months and I still feel like I am swimming in a ocean! Configuring end user systems is not intuitive and requires many steps to get it correct. **Recommendations to others considering LogRhythm SIEM:** Ensure that other applications that you plan to use the SIEM with is update to the most recent version for the software, **What problems is LogRhythm SIEM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Monitor user activity. With AI of the SIEM itself, we get a good conclusive analysis done pre determined. **What do you dislike about LogRhythm SIEM?** Log rhythm should give more options to personalize and curate content via custom apps according to the environment. Such as IBM QRadar has ‘IBM APP EXCHANGE’ portal from where we can download apps and use it custom to our environment. **What problems is LogRhythm SIEM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having a distinct visibility and correlated use cases have been a problem solver for the analysts. LogRhythm not only gives one perspective of an activity, but correlates it in an efficient and yet simplified manner. Many SIEM’s do correlate, but they don’t have things simplified. Like ArcSight does not provide simplicity and flexibility. ### 5. We reviewed a few of the other top tier SIEM providers and they did not seem to have as many of our log sources covered. **What do you dislike about LogRhythm SIEM?** We are a smaller company so we at times did not get a lot of attention for support, professional services, and sales as we could have. **Recommendations to others considering LogRhythm SIEM:** This product is good for small to medium-large companies. Make sure you include training for at least one or two competent individuals for administration and creating all the rules and alerts needed. I recommend the co-pilot program for the first year at least. Ask about support for ALL of your log sources in advance. If a parser is needed for a specific system that is not yet supported, have them promise to include the creation of that parser with the purchase. **What problems is LogRhythm SIEM solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are getting great insight into all aspects of our systems and network. We use the system for troubleshooting issues as well as security. Also great for user trending and analysis. ### 6. It allows you to set limits, to correlate your system with AI and to classify incidents with levels of risk in realtime. The GUI is amazing, I really liked working on the approach and it does a good job on it. Besides, it is simple to implement, as it is compatible with the SIEM system and any application can be implemented. Also, LogRhythm UserXDR has done an excellent job when promoting most log origins and styles. **What do you dislike about LogRhythm SIEM?** To improve, I want more data to delve into the cause factors. Other than that, I have no real problems with LogRhythm UserXDR. I like the incoming log sources monitoring and regulating. **Recommendations to others considering LogRhythm SIEM:** I would recommend LogRhythm UserXDR for a strong client with a lot of storage, CPU, and recollection. If this is not your case, I would wait for a big IT department to boost your consumer's design. Before you get started, I would also recommend you to take LogRhythm UserXDR **What problems is LogRhythm SIEM solving and how is that benefiting you?** My company uses LogRhythm UserXDR for data and essentially an implementation style. It provides a great system to combine log processing with very intuitive functionality and capacities for fine-tuning warnings and other traffic analyses. The user interface can be customized and provide inner analysis. When it comes to SIEM, UEBA and SOAR, LogRhythm UserXDR offers the best approach, incorporated at the same time on a single platform. ### 8. With this tool, we have the possibility to process a large number of event logs, sending signals about security errors found in the system and suspicious occupations that are occurring. We can guarantee the security of our company's network and also the compliance with the security regulations through this program. In addition, it was not difficult to implement the program. Of course, you will need an advanced medium level SIEM knowledge, but you can get used to it in a short period of time. Speaking of prices, this software has a good value for money. Security is one of the most important things today, and we are focused on offering safe and high quality services, we can do it efficiently with this program. **What do you dislike about LogRhythm SIEM?** The main drawback of the program is that the analysis of the causes of a security breach takes many hours, the signals that we recieve entail the need to collect and investigate in depth all the data. Therefore, when a threat appears,we have to react quickly, something that, with the data provided by LogRythm, at times is not posible because time runs out. However, once the data is analysed, we can solve the issue immediately and easily. **Recommendations to others considering LogRhythm SIEM:** I do not recommend to small sized companies. These companies do not usually deal with threats. Futhermore, there are cheaper options that may solve their problems. However, I highly recommend to large companies. We have tested another program of its sector and LogRythm have given us the most trusted experience. Choosing a SIEM software is not easy so you should make sure which one is the most suitable one for your company. From my point of view, LogRythm is the most complete SIEM in the market. **What problems is LogRhythm SIEM solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are using it at the IT department. We need to deal with threats quite often, so with LogRythm we are able to recognize them and solve the problems as fast as possible. in order to do that, we need to check a lot of devices at the same time, something which is easier with this program. The building blocks are completely intuitive and are easily editable, by simply applying drag and drop you’re able to set them however you wish. The logs are set in readable format, making them easy to export to any member of the team. Also, the reporting features are very helpful, allowing user to report all the logs from a server within a defined period. **What do you dislike about LogRhythm SIEM?** I don’t like the login screen. I just think it doesn’t fit well with a security management tool. Also, LogRhytm needs to improve with its documentation. There are too many tutorials written, but maybe adding video content with the most common issues could work better. Also, the information showed when an alarm rings should be configurable, in order to show only the priority data. **Recommendations to others considering LogRhythm SIEM:** For companies with multiple devices running and multiple servers working, LogRhytm works well as a security management tool. It works perfect for correlating events, setting up alarms and managing logs from every system of your company. It is used for collecting logs from several devices. I am able to quickly narrow my focus with quick searches. We alert on Blacklisted sites and countries. The team has been able to quickly respond when an email arrives from one of those sites or if a user has made a connection. For first-time users with a decent knowledge about this kind of tool, it is really easy to set up out and implement, specially when it comes to identification and drill down of authentication issues, as it's able to solve each process in a couple of minutes. And, of course, it can collect logs from a large list of sources. **What do you dislike about LogRhythm SIEM?** ILogRhythm's support team is not as good as I expected. I think it’s one of the weakest points of the product. Other than that, I only have complains about the little documentation on query building in the WebUI and the difficulties for automation, as LogRhythm is not cloud native. **Recommendations to others considering LogRhythm SIEM:** Regardless of the company’s size, I think LogRythm is good for Windows based compliance environments, where operators may need training or hiring with some experience.
