What I dislike about eToro is mainly the customer service experience and how disconnected the system feels overall. The AI support interface doesn’t seem properly synced with either the actual customer service team or the platform itself. I had a bad experience where I submitted a withdrawal using one payment method, but the system processed it through a different one. The AI assistant repeatedly assured me the withdrawal had been sent to the original payment method, but when I finally spoke to a real person, they told me that wasn’t true. If I hadn’t kept insisting on getting an update, I never would have known what actually happened.

I also feel that eToro charges high fees and commissions for many services, while withdrawal timeframes are far too long. In one case, I waited almost nine business days for a withdrawal to reach my bank account. Overall, everything just feels slow and poorly coordinated.

Another frustrating experience was when I opened a back-office support ticket. The representative initially responded quickly and asked for screenshots, which made it seem like the issue would be resolved right away. But after I submitted everything, I didn’t receive another response for five or six days.

Back in 2020, eToro felt much more polished and reliable. The platform seemed more active, customer support felt more responsive, and the app overall worked better. Lately, though, it feels like the quality has declined. The customer service is weaker, the AI support is unreliable, and the app itself has too many glitches and synchronization issues. I like that Etoro's platform is intuitive and easy for people who may not have experience with other brokers or who are starting in the world of investments, we must remember that the broker is only the intermediary between the owner companies or stock exchange, it does not mean that by entering our money we will become rich overnight. Although eToro facilitates trading on several different stock exchanges, I have found that not all stocks and ETFs listed on them can be traded on eToro. This issue is not a significant issue for me as most, if not all, companies with the largest market capitalizations can be traded on eToro. I tried using eToro first without making any deposits. Since I've used a few other platforms that caused issues when withdrawing funds and in different situations, I wanted to try the eToro's virtual account out first. I've run into problems like when I tried to change my password, no eToro platform will allow it, not the site, not the app. I've sent SEVERAL messages asking eToro to help me out, but they just send me automated replies saying they're not going to help me until I've deposited some money.
