## ENPS Reviews
  ### 1. Works Well for Pulling Together Information and Assets

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh R. | Digital Content Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

Works well as we pull together all kinds of information, assets to build shows and more

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

It can be glitchy which is not the best with something that gets used almost 24/7

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easiest way I know to put together shows for broadcast

  ### 2. I wish we still had ENPS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** erick z. | Operator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

I like that ENPS commands are easy to put in a newscast rundown and not the small grommits like the "other" company's product that I currently use

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

Honestly nothing is to dislike about ENPS. I currently am trying to get ENPS back at my station because we have new ownership & everyone else likes ENPS better then INEWS.

**Recommendations to others considering ENPS:**

Don't get fooled by INEWS ENPS is much easier to use & teach with.

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Newscast rundowns at a broadcast station. It was easier to train new directors automation with ENPS

**Official Response from Brian Hopman:**

> Erick, thank you for taking the time to write this review for ENPS. We appreciate the positive feedback and are always striving to make ENPS even stronger for users than it is today.

Hopefully we can get ENPS back in your hands at some point in the future!

  ### 3. ENPS is cool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2021

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

ENPS is very user-friendly. It's easy to grasp, and you can customize layouts to your liking. Multiple people can be in a show at once to collaborate.

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

I wouldn't say I like how people can kick you out of scripts because you'll lose all your work if you don't save before. It's also kind of a bummer how there's a limit on who can use Xpression.

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ENPS makes producing easy. It's suitable for directors, producers, anyone in the newsroom. It helps us solve the problem of getting scripts to everyone.

  ### 4. Convenient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2021

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

I like the way the program can be displayed how you like it. Very user friendly, but can be tricky for some tasks

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

So many things that can be done in the program, I just don't know them all

**Recommendations to others considering ENPS:**

While ENPS can be complicated it offers a lot to users

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workflow organization for our show rundowns in news

  ### 5. Great way to begin a career in broadcasting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christina H. | Newswriter - overnight, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2019

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

I love the ability to organize each rundown efficiently.

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

The archive only goes back 200 results, which makes searching for old broll difficult.

**Recommendations to others considering ENPS:**

Keep a story live in order to keep track of relevant broll to archive so that when you have to call back on someone who has fallen out of the news recently there is relevant information readily available.

Don't close Media Xpressions if opened, it'll crash the entire browser and don't open links within ENPS- additional bugs to be worked out.

Only one user can be in a story at once, if your office collaborates often in single stories (one writer, one research, one video... etc) this software may not work as well unless you create multiple lines for a single story.

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am tracking multiple long-running stories with the ability to look back and see how each story was reported at the time.

  ### 6. ENPS newsroom experience

  ### 10. Amazing workflow & highly reliable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2020

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

Integration, reliability & seamless workflow

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

Found it little bit tough for new learner

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paperless workflow and integration with MOS enabled devices are breakthrough

  ### 11. Easy to learn how to produce

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrian G. | Morning Show Producer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2019

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

ENPS was the first program I used in a newsroom. I was a young producer out of college who had no idea how to actually build rundown. ENPS made it so easy because everything was color coded. Yellow means nothing is inside the script, Red means something is in the segment. It makes it easy scroll through and see what needed to be done. Most programs have this, but my favorite thing about ENPS is how Segments get blocked together. You can add a 1shot, VO, and SOTVO line but it will all be one self-contained unit unlike iNews. That makes it easier to move stories around and kill them last second.

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

I disliked having to put the video placeholder inside the script. I like scroll through my rundowns periodically to see what needs to be done, so I can't tell if a segment needs a video placeholder just by scrolling. I need to click on each individual line which could take long in crunch time.

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used ENPS to produce evening newscasts

  ### 12. Good program for news

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2019

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

Coding in it makes my job as a producer much simpler.
It’s easier to navigate through the different tabs like planners and the grid.

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

It will freeze up at the worst times when you don’t want it to. It also goes unresponsive rather quickly, especially when your first boot it up.

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Building my grid for my Newscast (WOWK TV)

  ### 13. ENPS Small Market News

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph H. | Freelance Video Producer, Media Production, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2019

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

ENPS is easy to use as a news producer. It puts everything in one place in an easy to use, easy to understand workflow. Easy to make quick changes on the fly.

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

It can crash when you work too fast, or with too many plugins.

**Recommendations to others considering ENPS:**

Would recommend for newsroom use. Easy to work as a team- and utilize in an entire newsroom setting. Also easy for each person to customize settings, workflow, etc.

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ENPS to produce 2 daily newscasts in Evansville Indiana. We work as a team- as reporters input the scripts and we can easily put multiple sets of eyes on it via ENPS.

**Official Response from Brian Hopman:**

> Hi Joseph,

Thanks for taking the time to share this feedback about ENPS. We're glad you find the product easy to use.

Re: some crashes, I've sent you a message via LinkedIn to see if we can dig into that since that shouldn't be an issue.

  ### 14. ENPS - A Media Must!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2019

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

Love how ENPS organizes news wires and stories, plus we use it as a template for screen sharing.

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

The newest version (8.2) is a little clunky and has taken a bit to learn, realtive to older versions.

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it to share my screen with colleagues and find up-to-the-minute news items.

  ### 15. ENPS Local News

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2019

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

ENPS works well in real time.
Everyone can be working on different lines of the rundown at the same time and there isn't any issue.
It's also a great all in one- newswires, network outlooks, and scripts come through.

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

It can be clunky sometimes- by that I mean there are some extra buttons and clicks that feel unnecessary. You also can't completely customize a layout.
When it crashes, it crashes hard and there isn't any going back

**Recommendations to others considering ENPS:**

Better than other newsroom systems I have used

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use this to deliver news on an everyday basis.
It's exactly what a newsroom needs for communication and production.

**Official Response from Brian Hopman:**

> Thanks so much for your review. We're glad you like using ENPS. We are committed to continuous improvement. We'd be grateful to hear further feedback from you on what would make your experience smoother / faster / easier. Please reach out to me if you have a moment.

Thanks!

  ### 16. AP ENPS review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2018

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

I really like how the AP ENPS is directly linked to video tape IDs. This makes it super easy to find older footage instead of having different files and having to look through folders of video. By simply looking into the archive folder you are able to access old video which is great. I also like how easy it is to add supers or CGs to the script. I have used other script softwares before and there are many steps to do such a simple task so I definitely like how much easier it is to do this task in AP ENPS.

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

AP ENPS is a bit more complicated than other scripting softwares I have used. There are many more options and things you can do with on it. Although this is a great problem to have (too many options), it can become difficult for a new user or beginner as they are trying to learn the program.

**Recommendations to others considering ENPS:**

I think it's a great program!

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The program is greatly beneficial to provide a way for a newsroom to produce a script for a news show. The reporters, anchors, producers, etc can all access the same scripts, communicate to each other and make changes all on one united platform. I think this is extremely beneficial and necessary.

  ### 17. ENPS daily user

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2018

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

It is user friendly and I'm able to pull up a saved run-down and anyone in the newsroom with the proper access can add and edit.... makes a nice flow.

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

I wish the Lowers were shortened and the timecodes were closer to the left.

**Recommendations to others considering ENPS:**

Learn the commands first because it saves you a lot of time.

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is used in a newsroom.

  ### 18. ENPS for producing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2018

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

The ease in viewing layouts and AP story content

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

The search function. Would like to see more results at once.

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication while in a show. The ability for multiple users to make changes in a script

  ### 19. Simple and efficient, missing one feature

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2018

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

I like how clean it looks (especially compared to iNews). Makes it easier to navigate.

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

I wish it would time the show (like iNews) instead of make you do the math.

**Recommendations to others considering ENPS:**

Know how to backtime your show

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's 100% necessary to have your rundown in this kind of software. It'd be nearly impossible to use something like Excel. Which some tiny newsrooms use.

  ### 20. ENPS Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kailey M. | Sports Reporter - KAMC & KLBK, Broadcast Media, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2018

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

It’s helpful at work for writing scripts and stories and if links well to the newscast. You can update keys to your preferences and create your own settings within your profile which is nice.

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

There are certain products that work through ENPS and can slow it down. At times the program even crashes and you lose all your work. At those times if he program can be really frustrating.

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can all access scripts at our desks and through the mobile app which requires us to have less scripts and is nice.

  ### 21. Essential News Product

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2018

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

Once familiar with the navigation, ENPS 8 is very user-friendly. Compared to previous versions, ENPS 8 moves as you would expect it to. The ability to drag and drop, personalize settings, and change the layout have made my day-to-day work very easy. I also love how the message and news wire bar stays at the top of the screen even when I am in other applications.

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

ENPS can be difficult to navigate when first using, because it is not quite like any other program.

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use ENPS to communicate internally and organize our show rundown. Without it, every day would be a disaster!

  ### 22. User-friendly application that is mostly intuitive

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2018

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

I like the organization of the story columns and how easy it is to access each story. The blocks are very easy to maneuver.

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

I do not like how easy it is to accidentally delete content when multiple people try to open a story.

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TV News -- It has made story organization much easier.

  ### 23. ENPS gets the job done

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Writing and Editing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2018

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

AP ENPS has everything you need to get your specific job done. It’s user friendly and easy to learn. The news organization I work for uses AP quite often so it’s nice to be using ENPS as well.

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

There are other news production softwares that have more features. ENPS has the basics but could offer more functions.

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working at a news radio station, ENPS gives us the capability to organize our news feed in a way the producers, reporters and on-air hosts can all be on the same page.

  ### 24. Good enough

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2018

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

I like that the producer is able to indictate where, in the rundown, we are during the broadcast.

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

Controls and keys are nor specified. I've been taught by word of mouth and I'm pretty sure I don't know all the short cuts that you make our life easier.

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Everyone can log into it but at the same time it's hard to edit when everyone is in it and we cant identify the computer that has it open

  ### 25. Very useful for newsrooms

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2018

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

ENPS is the industry standard, so anyone from any station can work with it. That also means you really need to have it and know how to use it if you're in local television news.

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

When producing shows, it's very easy to accidentally move a story up or down the rundown by accident.

**Recommendations to others considering ENPS:**

Be sure to take advantage of any training offered when your newsroom upgrades versions.

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows the entire newsroom to collaborate to put the show on efficiently.

  ### 26. Associated Press for Journalist

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shahla S. | Recruitment Advisor, Information Technology , Staffing and Recruiting, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2018

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

Multimedia contents
Data gathering
Analysis
Digital publishing

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

The text suggests that something could be improved to be more user-friendly and to function better with a Mac system.

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had an issue dealing with connecting the whole system to one software, but with this software, it's more team-oriented and organized.

  ### 27. Former ESPN user

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ethan A. | JD Candidate, Higher Education, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2018

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

Free flow of communication simple and easy

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

Sometimes it's not intuitive. Backspace to enter things in can be annoying. Sometimes also looks archaic. Could be easier functionality for creating new projects

**Recommendations to others considering ENPS:**

Nice organizaitonal product

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization of rundowns for television production

  ### 28. Gets the job done

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derrick S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2018

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

ENPS is a reliable tool for on-air broadcast producing.

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

Ability to use ENPS on mobile devices is a bit clunky and cumbersome. In 2018 this should be a requirement.

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Producing on air broadcasts with large teams.

  ### 29. Works Great for How We Use It

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2017

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

Ability to plot out the day ahead in stories and ability to integrate into other systems

  ### 30. ENPS Review

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kellie B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2017

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

simple format for writing news for broadcast

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

issues have to refresh grid all the time

**Recommendations to others considering ENPS:**

Good option

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Putting on a newscast in a timely manner

  ### 31. I populate our assignment desk grid using ENPS.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mack R. | Assignment Editor, Broadcast Media, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2016

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

The best thing about ENPS is how streamlined it is. I am able to clearly differentiate between different fields such as the name of the assignment I'm working on, the type of segment it is, the location of the assignment, etc.

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

It could be a little more user friendly. It doesn't really adapt well to certain demands, and in some cases is stuck in its ways.

**Recommendations to others considering ENPS:**

The thing with ENPS is it just takes time to get used to, like most other softwares, but even more so here. There are little nooks and crannys that people don't know about and it can make things harder.

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm mainly making sure our assignment desk grid is neatly laid out for people to read and get a sense of the kind of stories we're working on daily.

**Official Response from Brian Hopman:**

> Mack,

Thanks for your review of ENPS. If there's anything we can do for you, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Best regards,

  ### 32. ENPS is efficient, organized and productive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2017

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

I like how it's clear and easy to use with intelligent design and conceptual basis.

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

I dislike that sometimes it is tough to move slugs around and edit things.

**Recommendations to others considering ENPS:**

I would absolutely use it again and miss it now using Dalet. It's efficient and it makes sense.

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I really like how clear cut and organized it can be and dragging MOS commands is effective.

  ### 33. A mediocre, slow product with little functionality, not enough integration, and horrible reliability

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph L. | Executive Producer, Broadcast Media, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2016

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

ENPS 7 does have a useful bar at the top of your screen that is separate from the application itself -- it alerts you to news wires and messages from fellow users. There is also some "social media" integration possible but it's not easily usable. It gets the job done, but much like Sears or carrying a briefcase, I'm surprised it's still a thing.

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

Where to begin. It's slow. It crashes if you have too many items open within the application (read: rundowns, the video playback player, schedules, etc.). It will not save your changes in a script. Far too often, the humans are working faster than the application can work (read: we will type in text in a column and "tab" away, but as soon as we type something in that column, the little 'spinning wheel' appears for about 4-5 seconds until ENPS decides, oh, yes, ok, I recognize this simple-simple thing you're doing, now carry on.) It's incredibly buggy. It will not open an item (read: calendar, planner, rundown) until it is done loading every single row in said item - and that can take 15+ seconds). The Enterprise section is just as cumbersome as we are not able to quickly connect to our cloud and fellow ENPS users in other cities nationwide. RAM/memory hog. Totally not recommended. ENPS 6 - despite being a dinosaur - was more stable and reliable.

**Recommendations to others considering ENPS:**

Abandon ship.

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I manage and oversee two 30-minute daily newscasts produced within ENPS and also oversee our Planner/calendar within ENPS. We also are looking at video (Sony plug-in within ENPS), typing scripts, inserting graphics and lower-third name graphics all within tight time constraints.

**Official Response from Brian Hopman:**

> Joseph,

I'm very sorry to hear you haven't had a good experience with ENPS v7. And apologies that we didn't see this review earlier. We just became aware of this site. As soon as I saw this review, I asked members of our team to reach out to you and your station to offer our assistance. I do hope things have improved during the time since you wrote this review.

Almost everyone on our team here (myself included) has worked in a newsroom and been a newsroom system user at one point in our careers, so we know what it's like to try to get shows on air and we know that reliability and speed are extremely important. We have also invested a lot in ENPS (more than any other similar system we know of) to continuously improve upon it, migrating its code to modern platforms to make sure it evolves quickly and can meet the needs of demanding newsrooms and provide the features that people need.

If you are still experiencing issues, please contact me directly and I'll make sure we get you all the right attention.

Thanks,

  ### 34. ENPS use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2016

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

It's easy to use. Everyone at my station can have access at the same time... All working together on the same shows. It is definitely user friendly, there aren't many features that are hidden or hard to find.

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

I don't like how easy it is for someone else to kick you out of a script. It is so frustrating to be working on something and all of a sudden be kicked out. I understand this is necessary sometimes... But there needs to be a better way

**Recommendations to others considering ENPS:**

I would say definitely use this. It is very simple and easy to understand and teach to new employees

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We don't use ENPS for problem solving, but for producing news shows on a daily basis. But there are a lot of benefits we use.. Especially the connection to the AP wires to find national news.

  ### 35. Easy to use in broadcast news

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley S. | TV News Production Assistant, Broadcast Media, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

It is fairly easy to use and once you do use it many of the functions remain with you years later. For instance I first used this program in a college class. We didn't use it very much but we learned the basics of it. Years later when I entered the broadcast television industry it was almost like riding a bike when using the program. Over time I mastered the ins and outs of ENPS and find it really easy to train others on its usage. This is very important because in broadcast news time is tight and you have to be on your toes if anything happens.

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

It feels like the program dies more constantly than it should. It will work fine one minute, then suddenly freeze up when I am trying to do something and shut down. It does not have a recovery mode that I can tell so any work unsaved gets lost.

I also sometimes question its reliability when I am in the middle of a show. It lags behind when I am trying to keep up with my broadcast. Also sometimes the time remaining in show doesn't always match up with the actual time remaining in the show despite its clock being set correctly.

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our whole newscasts are based on and rely on this program. It is the heart and soul of our news station. ENPS has everything we need to do what we have to in order to broadcast to our state several times a day every day. And if breaking news happens, it is reliable enough that we are able to get news out there as fast as possible without problem.

**Official Response from Brian Hopman:**

> Ashley,

Thanks for your review of ENPS. If there's anything we can do for you, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

  ### 36. Use it every day at my job as a TV producer

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2016

**What do you like best about ENPS?**

I use ENPS version 7.4.9. I like it a lot better than the previous version. Searching the archives is simple, and utilizing wire services is integrated nicely.

**What do you dislike about ENPS?**

Read rates are and VIZ graphics system integration fails a lot

**Recommendations to others considering ENPS:**

na

**What problems is ENPS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It benefits any newsroom because of the simplistic nature allows you to make changes on the fly. It's also very self explanatory so training new users is fairly easy.
