This is one of the best lightweight text editors among the likes of Notepad++, Sublime Text, etc. I like that it can be used both as a simple text editor and a full-fledged IDE as it supports many languages like HTML, JAVA, PHP, C/C++ etc. It also has syntax highlighting for these langauges and a wide range of other features which makes it quite easy and effective to use. Support for a lot of scripting languages. The most really very good feature is on the FTP and GIT. I work on a lot of SQLs and SQRs during my day to day activity. Using editplus has eased up my work a lot. The perfect color coding. By default the ruler will be available which makes a lot easier while checking the fixed file formats or interface files. Edit+ is a compact software; it occupies low disk storage space. The software identifies syntax and differentiates it from the text to give you a clear picture of your code. Even when you copy-paste a program, it identifies the syntax, and you can view your code. It allows me to open multiple tabs, and I can edit different files in my project simultaneously.
