What do you like best about EDB Postgres Advanced Server?

I appreciate the Oracle compatibility that EDB Postgres Advanced Server offers, which is crucial for providing Oracle-compatible Postgres solutions to our customers. The suite of EDB tools is comprehensive and well-supported, which enhances the overall value of the service. EDB's migration tools make it significantly easier to migrate data and DDL from Oracle to Postgres, streamlining our workflow and reducing potential transition challenges. The support provided by EDB is excellent and has been instrumental in ensuring a smooth transition and ongoing operation. I find the installation process straightforward and greatly value the available documentation, which made the learning curve of switching from Oracle much more manageable. The suite of tools available fits well with our needs and aids in accelerating our ability to deliver Postgres as an alternative database solution. What do you dislike about EDB Postgres Advanced Server?

I would appreciate it if EDB Postgres Advanced Server supported more Oracle syntax. While it currently offers a lot of Oracle syntax/tool support, there are some missing features, like 'lag() ignore nulls', that would significantly speed up development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
