I was speaking to another user of the leading software package at another Church and he was saying that his software was not user friendly at all. I told him that we had been using EasyWorship 6 and then 7 for almost a decade and found the software to be easy, intuitive and powerful. It does all that we require. There have been times when our A/V person does not show up and we've been forced to use someone who has never used the software before. A quick 2 to 3 minute tutorial and they are up and running. User Friendly - Powerful - Versatile It does everything we need it to do. **What do you dislike about EasyWorship?** We are currently working through issues related to PowerPoint usage within the software. In the meantime, we've been using the "Presentation" module within the EasyWorship 7 software and have been very satisfied with it. **What problems is EasyWorship solving and how is that benefiting you?** Easy integration with CCLI... a thing of beauty! ### 2. It makes my work making a schedule so much more efficent. **What do you dislike about EasyWorship?** When it doesn't work. Fex when we get new computers and have to download a new version. Firewalls keep being a problem for us to upload the database. We had to buy a new version of Easy Worship to make it work, and it still doesn't work the way it is supposed to. The new computers have still not got the database, so we have one old computer with the old version of EW - and that is the only computer with can make schedules with. We have asked for help here in Norway - but no respons the last six months. **What problems is EasyWorship solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is efficient when it is working right. We recently started to live stream our main service on Youtube to our branch in another city. Our main challenge was to be able to broadcast the service from YouTube live and let the secondary church add overlays for in-service announcements. We tried every kind of software known to us and even paid a considerable amount for some without much success. Easy worship was the solution we needed. It was able to this with a lot of ease and has become our presentation tool. It works! **What do you dislike about EasyWorship?** Not much can be said that doesn't work for us. In reality it has worked ok unless we might require more from it in the future. As of now it adequately serves our needs and resolved our biggest headache. **What problems is EasyWorship solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ability to add overlay announcements while broadcasting from Live YouTube church service from our main center. Now we can allow the secondary church to be in charge of the service and pass on necessary in-service communications. ### 7. We love importing songs from SongSelect into the database and having it retain all the copyright information for each song. It is user-friendly, and we can get our volunteers up to speed very quickly with it. **What do you dislike about EasyWorship?** Until recently, to import from SongSelect you needed to use Internet Explorer internally to EasyWorship, which had many issues with the rendering. With the most recent update, signing onto SongSelect is a much better experience. Our church is used by other churches, and we have only just discovered that the user profiles are global to the multimedia machine we use - if you change users on the computer and start EasyWorship, you are still in the same user profile, using the same database. The user interface lives up to the name, and we are able to onboard new volunteers quickly and easily. The features are rich, and we have not felt limited in any way with the program. Tech support has been responsive when needed, but that has not been often. Overall, a great product! **What do you dislike about EasyWorship?** Easyworship does not offer any cloud-based options, which would be helpful for collaboration. While it is not difficult to export schedules and files and utilize other platforms for sharing, integrating those platforms or creating an EW proprietary cloud-based service would be, well, easier. **What problems is EasyWorship solving and how is that benefiting you?** Easyworship is keeping the process simple but effective. That allows us to quickly train volunteers and also produce an outstanding multimedia presentation when we gather for services. ### 10. Easy Worship is simple to use. It has all the capabilities of more sophisticated software options but on a budget. Easy Worship also gives you a campus license that is more affordable than all other worship software. **What do you dislike about EasyWorship?** At times, PowerPoint has trouble loading. Usually, this has to do with a CODEC or even the need for an update. But, the support from Easy Worship is par none, so they get it figured out for you quickly. **What problems is EasyWorship solving and how is that benefiting you?** Easy Worship gives us the ability to project the words of the songs we sing, as well as it enables us to show videos, sermon notes, and much more. The more I use it the more impressed I get. It has a very "easy" interface. **What do you dislike about EasyWorship?** I have to be honest and say I have not found any drawbacks yet. The process is really simple, and other users can quickly be trained to use EasyWorship **What do you dislike about EasyWorship?** Error handling ( if you try to go too far ahead of the process at the time, the program does not have a good error handling process. It locks up, and we have to delete the process and start again on what we were doing at the time. The user can understand how to use the software quickly. Managing what we've imported or created it's easy, as well. The features and updates are always the best. Throughout the time I've been using softwares in the church, I haven't found any other as friendly as EasyWorship. **What do you dislike about EasyWorship?** There is only a couole of things that may do it better. The first one is that there are no enough references to the available resources in the website. The second one maybe either the price of some resources or the fact that there are no enough free resources. **What problems is EasyWorship solving and how is that benefiting you?** We didn't have a way to help people learn the songs or sing with us until we found EasyWorship. We were looking for a software that helped us to present images, videos and slides for advertisements. EasyWorship not only came to solve that, but also gave us the tools that we needed to bring the attention back to the front. ### 15. It is also used for all media presentations for Family connection nights as well as kids clubs presentations every wednesday night. So it is used quiet a lot for a wide variety of things throughout all areas of our small church. ### 17. The longer you use it, the easier it is because you are constantly building up your database of media. **What do you dislike about EasyWorship?** My least favorite thing about EasyWorship is probably that I can't add images within a presentation. When I'm working on a presentation and add in a slide, I don't like that I have to save and go out to add the image I need into the media section before going back into the presentation to finish editing the slide. **What problems is EasyWorship solving and how is that benefiting you?** Display announcements, song lyrics, and scripture during our church service at a very affordable cost. ### 27. Adding a video background by drag-n-drop is much easier than the previous version. **What do you dislike about EasyWorship?** In previous versions (Easy Worship 2009), when a change was made in a PowerPoint document, it was automatically updated in the presentation. With this new version, I have to remove the PPT, make the change, save it, and then re-add to the schedule. **What problems is EasyWorship solving and how is that benefiting you?** EasyWorship is bringing us into the 21st century with our worship singing ... at least in the presentation. ### 29. I would love to find some training on this. Maybe there is and I am not finding it. Importing songs is easy, and adding a PowerPoint is excellent. Works well with a remote, and we are able to use the program to stream our service on sunday. **What do you dislike about EasyWorship?** We aren't able to use keynote files, and the remote doesn't always work. Also, it would be nice if we could use the program with Google slides. Maybe offer the versions of the bible for free? Especially if they are already offered free on bible gateway. **What problems is EasyWorship solving and how is that benefiting you?** EasyWorship is helping us present the Sunday service to the live congregation and the online congregation so they can participate in the singing aspect of our service. They look professional and once set up, the words for songs are there for all time. I've looked up other products, but this is the most intuitive and complete. **What do you dislike about EasyWorship?** It does not accept all types of videos. It is a minor problem and easily avoided. Tech support is helpful and very knowledgeable about the product as well. **What do you dislike about EasyWorship?** Tech support is only on US times, so is difficult for an Australian to access it easily. Some features seem to arrive into the system a little later than perhaps they could. **What problems is EasyWorship solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a church within an older community, we need software that is super easy to operate, and allows powerful features that can be built-in to a service by more experienced users. It's Easy! Volunteers have very little learning curve to get started. Building schedules and running a service is easy and intuitive. New features are being added on a consistent basis in response to the changing needs in worship ministry. EasyWorship support is very responsive and quick to schedule a call and help troubleshoot any problems you may face. The media provided in the Premium subscription keeps our screens looking fresh and updated. **What do you dislike about EasyWorship?** While it may not be as feature-rich as the cadallic of presentation software, the features are well equipped for most small churches. Occasional idiosyncrasies in the software can be a stumbling block at first until you familiarize yourself with how the system works. **What problems is EasyWorship solving and how is that benefiting you?** EasyWorship has been driving our presentation screens for years and allows us to easily add volunteers to run slides at a moment's notice if necessary. The most recent updates have been a game changer for this software. ### 36. Adding new hymns/songs and creating simple text displays is quick and easy. And, it's easy to edit and make changes on the fly. **What do you dislike about EasyWorship?** I haven't run into anything to dislike. I will say that I don't use all of the features of the product, I primarily use it for single-channel output graphics/video playback. It is a source on my switcher. Many other features allow you to use the software as an integral part of a streaming workflow, but that is not my use case. **What problems is EasyWorship solving and how is that benefiting you?** I needed to replace software from another company whose 'improvements' had over-complicated their user interface. In addition to myself using the product, I train volunteers to sit in for me when I take time off, so it had to be understandable to someone outside of the video/broadcast realm. ### 37. We can easily and quickly put services together and easily swap songs/liturgy as we see fit, even whilst the service is live **What do you dislike about EasyWorship?** Unable to share Database easily across the team after spending months inputting all the songs we sing at Church as well as all the available liturgy. Whilst the database is now distributed, any updates are local to the machine it is running on. Lack of cross-operating system support i.e. MAC Would like to see the ability for EasyWorship to send midi commands to control other Audio/Visual components. **What problems is EasyWorship solving and how is that benefiting you?** Alternative display (useful for lower thirds on live streaming) as well as receiving Midi commands are the latest features being delivered. The introduction of Contiguous View was great allowing operators just to "click" straight through the service. ### 42. There is likely a way but I haven't found it yet. Maybe someone could send me instructions? Updates are great but what I don't like is how you end up having to update elements of your computer (or your entire computer completely) to be able to continue using the program. **What problems is EasyWorship solving and how is that benefiting you?** The program freezes from time to time and needs a reboot. These functions are provided at a reasonable cost. **What do you dislike about EasyWorship?** My main dislikes are that working with multimedia is a little counter-intuitive and setting up the weekly schedules usually requires a trained individual. Although not applicable for our church, a Mac version has been in the works for a while. **What problems is EasyWorship solving and how is that benefiting you?** We depend on volunteers to perform most of these functions, so ease of use is required so our volunteers may become proficient very quickly. On the surface, it is an easy-to-use and well-laid-out user interface that offers simplicity in flow and function to get the right job done for churches. However, the program offers a robust set of presentation features that allow deep customization and integration. The most recent version, brought together the benefit of multiple layouts, allowing for one "look" within the church, and a second "look" perfect for lower thirds live streaming. These features have been invaluable during the challenges of COVID. **What do you dislike about EasyWorship?** The development cycle does tend to be slower than some other church presentation software. However, we have encountered very few bugs which shows the time and focus given by the team behind EasyWorship to have a fully polished software. **What problems is EasyWorship solving and how is that benefiting you?** EasyWorship has allowed us to have one person control the graphics/ video/ lyric projection for both our in-person gathering attendees and our live-stream attendees.
