For users from non-technical background, its web-based UI is excellent for end-to-end DevOps workflow creation. 4. They also help with devops issues, wherever the internal team has been stuck. Everything is in the cloud, so it *should* be more reliable. I am not devops though, they might have a different opinion :) **What do you dislike about DuploCloud?** I am terribly annoyed about downtimes in some services that happen relatively often - just today I hit 504 again when I tried to open jenkins. The second issue is the necessity to login each time you open it, it seems like the session gets invalidated once a week (or even a couple of days) which is almost useless from the point of security but makes ppl perform some redundant operations. **What problems is DuploCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** I mostly use CI and Kibana hosted in duplocloud ### 13. It hides all complexity with launching Kubernetes until there is a need to dive into it, allowing us to leverage EKS without making expensive mistakes. We can reach out to Duplo with any questions and they provide us with the right information and knowledge to solve the problem. They have a great team, who really know what they are doing, respond very timely, and pleasure to interact with. It has the right guard rails in place, that allow the team to have JIT access to the resources they are using. Although, they have provided excellent service. **What problems is DuploCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** The most important thing that DuploCloud has provided is the deployment in a secure environment. In addition, they have performed penetration testing, a security whitepaper and are facilitating getting our product certified with security standards. In addition, they have provided automation for the deployment which prevents us from needing to set things up manually. ### 27. Any questions i have they have someone on the team that can help! This is important for us as we are a startup and run very lean so having an pool of subject matter experts in various areas is critical to us. **What do you dislike about DuploCloud?** Many newer features that AWS comes up with are not available in the GUI/DuploCloud interface. this forces us to sometimes go directly on the AWS console for configuration. this is ok but would be great if updates made it to the DuploCloud interface faster. **What problems is DuploCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** DuploCloud is a tremendous time saver for us deploying Infrastructure. They have templates based on PCI compliance that ensures a secure deployment each time. These templates ensure compliance with our regulators and our policies. ### 28. In a way, they solved our long pager-duty riddle by providing 24/7 support which is much needed. **What do you dislike about DuploCloud?** Not a lot to dislike, sometimes I worried timezones would be an issue (we're a US based company, and their teams are mostly in India), but they showed good will and availability constantly, so we don't have any real complaints for now. **What problems is DuploCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Providing DevOps expertise, especially around AWS infrastructure and automating flows for deployment (CI/CD), as well as helping train our team internally to learn how to deal with downtime or any number of unpredictable things that can go wrong in the cloud. ### 29. With DuploCloud we were able to deploy more than fifty services in less than one month, something we thought was impossible. **What do you dislike about DuploCloud?** Compliance standards such as NIST and PCI-DSS support required an additional upgrade cost which was only on their third tier, while our other base-level requirements were on their first tier. Aside from this, onboarding support was pleasant and allowed overlooking the extra expense. **What problems is DuploCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Deployment services with our AWS account, handling the controls for security and compliance. A little bit more knowledge depth of CI/CD tools would also be great.
