This Dspace platform turns out best in this platform as its comprehensive ecosystem for model-based development and the testing which comes along with it. Instead of using multiple disconnected tools, this provides an overall integrated environment for stimulation and validation, including rapid prototyping and other hardware-in-the-loop testing. The platform also works well with matlab and supports the complete development life cycle right from the yearly software validation for production testing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Dspace? The platform is very much effective but it also have a very complex learning curve, especially for engineers who are new to model-based development and testing. And their initial setup and hardware configuration can also take some time as it is very complex. Having a special onboarding setup and team assistant would make this platform really great. Licensing and hardware costs are also significant making it more non suitable for enterprise organization research institutions for smaller engineering teams. This platform helps us by solving the problem of extensive physical prototype testing by enabling our engineers to validate software and control systems in a realistic, stabilised environment. This platform also shortens validation timelines while increasing the confidence before deploying software to actual hardware and particularly for automotive EC us and other electric adas applications. No dislike about Dspace per se, although the setup is complicated. You really need someone with a deeper knowledge in order to install, configure and implement it.
