Be aware of their salespeople who overpromise and underdeliver (they promised us a letter signed by their CSM director that we could show to our prospects, saying that we have started the process of getting a certification). Their sales handover to the CSM was horrible. A lot of confusion, multiple contacts, and very little clarity. They are not "holding your hand" through the process as they sell it out to be. I primarily use Drata for training, which is extremely convenient for me. I really appreciate how it helps me stay on top of compliance, especially given how busy we are. The setup process was straightforward and easy when I initially installed it, which was a pleasant surprise. Additionally, Drata appears to effectively manage important functions like antivirus and hard drive encryption, which adds to its value. When we were evaluating companies in this space, we had two goals: improve our Trust Center experience, and find a provider that had a reliable AI capability for questionnaire support. Since becoming a SafeBase customer, they have done both for us tremendously! Our customer experience has improve greatly by using their Trust Center technology, and our team is completing more questionnaires, more quickly with the help of their AI questionnaire assist. Maybe one downside which is really specific is that there is no support for asset-based risk assessment, which is totally fine since there is a scenario-based risk assessment section that is well documented and supported and contains many features. It's helping us with policy writing, control mapping, framework understanding, risk assessment, asset inventory, vendor management, awesome integrations, and automated monitoring of controls as well as giving us a dashboard to measure our progress.
