What do you like best about DottedSign?

DottedSign is a straightforward, reliable platform that makes requesting signatures simple and professional. The free version includes exactly what I need—basic signing and task tracking—without unnecessary complexity. For a one-person creative business, it strikes a great balance between functionality and ease of use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DottedSign?

The free version is limited to three signature requests per month, which can be restrictive during busier periods. That said, for users who don’t want to pay for signature software, it’s still very possible to work within the limits and get contracts signed efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Document Signing with an Intuitive, Clutter-Free Interface"
4/5
What do you like best about DottedSign?

The interface is simple in the best possible way, no clutter, no learning curve. Setting up documents is fast; dragging signature/date fields takes seconds even on long forms. I really like that signers get a smooth experience, whether they’re on laptop or mobile, the flow is intuitive. Real-time status tracking saves a lot of “Did you sign it yet?” follow-ups. Templates are a quiet time-saver for repeat documents like NDAs, onboarding forms, and agreements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DottedSign?

Large PDFs can feel slightly slow while rendering or placing fields. The preview sometimes loads in lower quality initially before sharpening. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DottedSign?

I can be a little pricey compared to other apps but if you are using it all the cost is well worth it versus time saved. The UI is easy but not as user-friendly as some of the other apps but once you understand and get the hang of it the overall usage is fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DottedSign?

free version is tough to stay with as it limits alot the number of signature requests to only three per month which is hard to say ok to in these times where everything is online. its like you have to open the wallet even if you are not sure! i would like to see at least 5 to 10 a month here. "Takes the hassle out of getting signatures"

A feature that I am now using with DottedSign, is their Smart Bulk Send feature. It allows me to send the same document to different recipients with each individual being able to sign their own copy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DottedSign?

The only thing that I believe they could improve was making it so that a person that receives a document to sign is not required to sign up in order to do so. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about DottedSign?

This tool keeps the signing flow straightforward - upload, place fields, assign signers, and send. The activity timeline clearly shows who viewed and signed the document, reducing follow-ups. Templates help reuse frequently sent agreements without rebuilding them each time.

External users don’t need training; the signing experience is intuitive even for non-technical stakeholders. Works reliably across desktop and mobile, which helps approvals happen faster. It focuses on practicality rather than unnecessary complexity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DottedSign?

Bulk document handling features are limited and advanced workflow automation options are basic.

Branding customization is minimal compared to larger platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Smoother and More Effective Than Adobe Acrobat Sign"
5/5
What do you like best about DottedSign?

I use DottedSign to verify documents over the internet, and I like that it provides a quick and accurate system that makes verification painless while being trusted with sensitive information. I really appreciate the over-the-cloud signature verification feature. It offers an authentic signature without having to leave home, which is super convenient for situations where an in-person verification isn't feasible. I also enjoy the ability to manage workload efficiently and track progress, which works well with the cloud signature verification feature. Compared to Adobe Acrobat Sign, I find DottedSign's platform to be a lot smoother and more effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DottedSign?

Sometimes the device that I happen to be using that day might not be compatible with the over the cloud platform but in a fairness that is more of an operator problem than a problem with the program because it will usually work out, just takes a little more time than a compatible device. "Intuitive and Time-Saving, Excellent Document Tracking"
4.5/5
What do you like best about DottedSign?

I like how intuitive and streamlined the signing process is for both the sender and the recipient. The flexibility in how signatures are collected is great. Document tracking is also a big plus for me. Uploading a document, adding signature fields, and assigning them to individuals is very straightforward, even for non-technical people. Being able to sign from any device is excellent and saves me a lot of time. The transparency from the tracking allows me to not have to worry about whether people have opened it or not, which saves a lot of back-and-forth emails. The initial setup was super easy. What do you dislike about DottedSign?

I think it's great except the colors could be more accessible from a design standpoint Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
