However there is always a room for improvement. **What problems is Doppelio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Testing the capability of Netsense platform which holds and processes various meter data and helping in its enhancement. ### 2. One can simulate a wide range of data, from basic random numbers to complex data, using mathematical methods. Simulate and automate models. **What do you dislike about Doppelio?** A desired feature is to create and recommend a suite of test cases based on past test runs. It will reduce human error and improve productivity. **What problems is Doppelio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Emulate a IoT device and test with cloud while the hardware is still being designed. Helping the Testing and Development teams to Test device firmwares and flow of operations.Flexibility to be easily integrate with existing automation Suite.Quick Customer support to resolve your issues . **What do you dislike about Doppelio?** Dependency on old tools for some tasks. Synchronizing the new Testcases from Master workspace to other workspaces is not automated. For VM Firmwares , the process is not mentioned or simlified fo that if user wants to run the latest Firmware for debugging ,Prototying or Testing they have to be dependent on doppelio support team . **What problems is Doppelio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Earlier for automation , we would need to code around the simulator in order to send or recieve the Payloads but now 1 reusable test step can be used without knowing the code behind it. it solves major problem for load testing , where we were able to test the reliability and performance of our infrastructure in case there is lot of incoming traffic is expected.it helped in removing lot of rework and redundent steps fowllowed earlier to test the flow of payloads by device or Cloud. ### 4. Ease of use 2. Customer Support is 100% available whenever required. 3. You can blindly trust the platform while keeping your long run performance test for days (tried running tests for a week and never faced any issues) 4. Improvisations based on my (i.e. customer's) feedback is too quick. 5. You can use it on any scale (I personally tried for 100,000 simulators and works seemlessly fine. 6. Load testing can be done way easier and we can send any type of packets with any rate (static and dynamic packets can be sent to the Iothub or any other service) 7. Not just limited to the IoThub solutions, but can also be used for calling specific API's in bulk (I've tried around 4000 API calls per minute with consistency for couple of hours). Can also call API's in sequence and can capture response for validation purpose. 8. Logs are thoroughly defined and can be downloaded anytime easily. 9. Test suite runtime results are presented in graphical format and are easy to understand. 10. Easy to implement and create test suites without any support. **What do you dislike about Doppelio?** As of today, there is nothing as such that I dislike about doppelio. But when we try to prepare a test suite (for performance test) with a load of 100,000 simulators which is suppose to send 50,000 packets every minute to the Iothub, then the doppel creation takes some time (which is expected). But overall, Doppelio is able to fulfill our requirements. **What problems is Doppelio solving and how is that benefiting you?** One of the major pronblems that Doppelio is able to solve is to get ready to onboard new customers by knowing the performance of the system how it would react if x number of Iothub based devices are onboarded to our solution. Earlier, we used to onboard the customers based on an assumption of that the solution will support upto these many number of users/devices. But we faced alot of difficulties while onboarding them which was not a good thing. But later, when we started using doppelio, we used to run couple of performance test on some of the main features to check if its able to manage the load which might get in future. And we were able to find out the issues and bugs which could be improved before releasing this solution to the customers (knowing what could go wrong if we onboard new customer before hand and resolve it so that we don't face that issue in front of customers). This not only helped our stakeholders to have smooth onboarding process with the new customers, but also it enabled them to adapt new ways of improving the infrastructure of the solution to support more customers in future. ### 5. It is enabling me to get the job done without the dependency of the physical devices, eliminates the need for custom/in-house simulators. Enables automation without writing a code. Onboarding to the tool is easy and hassle-free. Easy to create IOT models and scenarios based on the need. Takes less time to set up and test the application. Easily can create any type of scenario based on the need and push the data/messages to the cloud at the required rate. Detailed logs provide all the required transactions with timing details, and help to troubleshoot issues on the go. We can bring up millions of devices in less time and send multiple messages to IOT at a high rate and with accuracy. Easily can do load/performance/stress testing on the application. No prior coding experience is needed to use this tool. Customer support is awesome. The team is always there to help and take suggestions, feedbacks and they implement improvements as early as possible. **What do you dislike about Doppelio?** I would like to see API testing, verification of the test data, and minor improvements on UI in the next release. **What problems is Doppelio solving and how is that benefiting you?** I see very less tools in the Market for IOT-based applications, and Doppelio in this area doing a great job by giving all possible options to test/model IOT devices and test cloud applications.
