"Real engagement insights, not just page views"
5/5
What do you like best about DocBeacon?

I really like the heatmap. It shows exactly where people spend time on the page, so it’s not just “they opened it”, I can see what actually caught their attention. When a client spends extra time on the pricing section, that’s my cue to follow up. It’s simple, visual, and surprisingly helpful in real sales situations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DocBeacon?

Would be great to have more integrations with tools like Notion or HubSpot. Apart from that, it's been stable and reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Insightful Analytics and User-Friendly Interface Enhance My Sales Proposals"
5/5
What do you like best about DocBeacon?

What I appreciate most are the detailed engagement analytics, which let me see not just who has opened my document, but also how they navigate through it. The heatmap feature is particularly valuable for identifying which sections capture the most interest, making it easier for me to improve my sales proposals. Additionally, the interface is clean, responsive, and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DocBeacon?

The platform is still developing, and I look forward to seeing more advanced features added in the future. In particular, I would like to have options for custom branding on document links and greater integration possibilities with CRMs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lightweight yet powerful document tracking tool"
5/5
What do you like best about DocBeacon?

I really like how easy it is to upload and share documents while still having full control. The analytics are very detailed — I can actually see which pages people spend the most time on, and the heatmap view makes it super intuitive to understand engagement. The watermarking feature is also reassuring when sharing sensitive files externally. Overall, it feels like a simpler, more focused alternative to DocSend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DocBeacon?

Since the product is still new, there are occasional rough edges. For example, the number of supported document format is still limited, so I sometimes need to export data manually. Also, I would love to see a mobile-optimized experience in the future, since right now it works best on desktop. None of these are blockers, but they are areas I hope to see improved as the product matures. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
