I like how easy it is to create a few data structures, connect them together by matching columns (matching a column in one sheet to a column in another sheet), and create the pages with drag and drop components (or a custom HTML/CSS/JavaScript component). It has a built in user authentication and is the fastest way to create and launch your own SAAS. I also like how the support is accessible through chat. I wish it was easier to create my own plugins, but I have been able to build anything I can think of by either creating a custom code block with AI (ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude) creating a JavaScript code block that sends data to or gets data from the API (powered by Directual). I've been using Directual to put together experimental apps on and off for around 3 years now - I mainly use it to flesh out proof of concepts where the data structures and logic need working out. The platform is great for doing exactly this, as it presents you with all the required interface options to string together the backend and a simple frontend clearly and easily. As long as you have some idea of what components you need to have in place to string together a functioning app.

Built into the platform is the ability to pull together a basic, functional frontend, but styling it isn't as straightforward - many people seem to use a different software to put together a frontend, then use Directual to drive the backend.

The first thing I noticed when using the app is the user-friendly interface. I think it will be understandable even to those who have no experience in programming. I also want to mention the excellent documentation that will help if you encounter difficulties. I think Directual is more designed to create complex web apps with complex logic. And without code. There are also several disadvantages. When switching to a paid plan, there are few API requests for an additional fee. I would also like Directual to work on an automatic restriction or warning on the unintended use of requests. I accidentally exceeded the request limit by 3 million.
