The thing that I like the most about spaces is that its the ease of setup. I use it to store most of my site's static content. Almost all of my images, documents, pdfs, videos are stored in spaces. I found it a very reliable and cheap service compared to others. **What do you dislike about DigitalOcean Spaces?** Outages happen and so spaces also face some outages, which are kinda worrying. **What problems is DigitalOcean Spaces solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am using DO Spaces for storing the site static content. ### 32. Once up and running, it is a very comprehensive service, and after its installation (which requires some knowledge) it is very easy to use: you simply have to "drag and drop" files. It couldn't be more intuitive. And of course, you can also store backups here. Spaces are managed through API, CLI, API client library, or your favorite S3-compatible tool. **What do you dislike about DigitalOcean Spaces?** Installing the control panels at the beginning can be a bit difficult for beginners (but once installed, handling them is very simple). **Recommendations to others considering DigitalOcean Spaces:** It offers a free trial period, so you lose nothing by trying. It is absolutely *super-simple* to setup, really affordable, and has amazing services like CDN and caches included in the default setup of the product. **What do you dislike about DigitalOcean Spaces?** Not much to dislike here. I wish their UI for browsing Spaces/S3 buckets was a bit quicker, but that is also avoidable by using a cloud-computing-independent program or service that has a better S3 browsing service, like Transmit app or CyberDuck. **Recommendations to others considering DigitalOcean Spaces:** For any company that already has services hosted on DigitalOcean, S3 is a service that is at a high standard, similar to all the other existing DigitalOcean services! It is a really obvious choice for S3 bucket storage, really easy to setup, has straightforward pricing, and is an overall extremely polished product. The pricing is also competitive with other cloud computing platforms that offer S3 buckets. :) **What problems is DigitalOcean Spaces solving and how is that benefiting you?** DigitalOcean Spaces provide S3 bucket storage for static files and folders, like images, user data, etc...
