It's very easy to work through each sprint, release, project with flexible hierarchy and rool-up/drill-down capabilities. **What do you dislike about Digital.ai Agility?** We discovered too late that our backlog export was limited. We needed to bring it to our new company after an acquisition and found out that some fields were truncated. There was no easy way to handle HTML or attachments but I guess that's to be expected. The truncation problem, however, forced us to try to recall and recreate stories. When reading the story accidental clicks and unclicks cause description of story to be change. We work in two-week sprints, and because I support multiple business lines, version one makes it easy to justify when I can work on certain products and when I cannot, then bring to the table the competing product demands and let management decide my priorities. **What do you dislike about Digital.ai Agility?** Sometimes Version One can be very difficult to navigate. I find myself having to click around different menus to get to where I want to go. I think the workflow could be smoother. **What problems is Digital.ai Agility solving and how is that benefiting you?** Management has been trying to report up activities to the corporate big wigs. I think they have gone overkill in the type of statistics they are presenting and it's an onerous burden at my level creating minutiae of detail that is meaningless. ### 19. The team rooms offer a place to see your team's (and only your teams) backlog, a storyboard for the current sprint, taskboard for the current sprint and a slew of other options. It also includes the mini-game 'Estimably' which helps teams estimate stories anonymously without an confusion as to what story we are actually estimating. Overall, it's a great feature and makes it really easy to dive in and get a quick birds eye of where the team stands. **What do you dislike about Digital.ai Agility?** Looking at the product backlog can be very confusing. VersionOne doesn't include (at least in my implementation) a marker of which Epic, or if you are in the team room, which project a story belongs too. We had to adjust the naming convention of the stories to include an acronym describing which feature epic and which functional epic the story comes from. Additionally, VersionOne for whatever reason, renamed everything to do with Epics in their platform to "Portfolio Items." Which to anyone with a scrum background is generally pretty confusing. I'm not sure why they made the change and while at it's heart it's just a label change, it's annoying that the deviated from standard agile terminology. **Recommendations to others considering Digital.ai Agility:** There's a lot of great features within VersionOne that you won't find anywhere else. But what it makes up in innovative features, it falls down in that it's not quite as customization as some of other competitors on the market. VersionOne has a clear vision of how you should be using the product, and deviating from the vision is difficult to successfully implement. There are some features of the application that were implemented without a clear goal in mind, such as the "Add an Inline Story." On the surface, it looks like a quick easy to add a story. But there aren't options to add in Epics or Sub-epics to keep track of where the story goes. Outside of the backlog, where the functionality exists, it's not clear what happened to the story and it's not easy to track down in your portfolio view. Additionally, with all the innovative features comes an 'innovative' price tag. Many of the innovative features will probably be overkill for smaller, and there are more affordable options. For larger organizations, the transparency and planning across many teams and many products makes VersionOne a much more attractive option. **What problems is Digital.ai Agility solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are a large organization implementing agile development across multiple teams, in multiple locations/countries. VersionOne allows us to have greater transparency up and down the line -- from the the status of a portfolio of products, down to the status of a specific story in a given sprint. The reporting has allowed us to project well in advance on the health of the project and raise concerns to upper management much earlier than we would have been able to in the waterfall method. ### 20. It has a decent UI and easy to navigate. Moving the stories around using the drag and drop is nice. Adding tasks and tracking hours is great. Burn-down chart on the scrum board helps to track the progress of the scrum team well. Integrates well with github. As new built is triggered from a artifact on github, the build version is updated to the story on VersionOne. **What do you dislike about Digital.ai Agility?** VersionOne could have a better UI for the scrum board. VersionOne for a user need to have its own username/password. I don't know this is how my company had it set up. It would be better if it can use the company SSO and password. **Recommendations to others considering Digital.ai Agility:** Overall a great tool for Scrum agile process. **What problems is Digital.ai Agility solving and how is that benefiting you?** VersionOne is currently used by our IT department to Scrum workflow. We have 3 weeks sprint. The benefits of VersionOne as a developer, its easy to navigate, sends instant emails if any conversations happens, easy to manage the backlog, create templates for stories, burn-down chart has excellent display to view the progress and alerts the developer if the story passes the threshold sitting on the same column more than few days. ### 24. Occasionally requires a page refresh to return to responsiveness. **Recommendations to others considering Digital.ai Agility:** Don't try to implement current processes as they are in VersionOne. Rather, look at how the tool is designed and build your process to its strengths. I will definitely recommend this product to any team working on Agile or moving to Agile/Scrum methodologies from Waterfall. **What problems is Digital.ai Agility solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am involved with ensuring our product quality is up to the mark and that all requirements/features are well defined without ambiguity, there are test cases for each story and related tasks and defects identified in VersionOne for easy tracking and resolution.
