Enhanced Automation of Customs Declarations + Partner Integrations New capability worth noting: the use of machine learning/document-capture to convert unstructured documents (e.g., PDFs of commercial invoices) into structured EDI/data for customs filing, plus support for newer entry types like U.S. Section 321 Type 86 low-value goods. Why I like it: The time saved by converting invoice/document data automatically is a major win — less manual typing, fewer errors. The support for Type 86 (US low-value goods) shows responsiveness to new trade regimes and regulatory change. In my experience, in addition to making transmissions easy, it is a great help in identifying when a detail is entered incorrectly because it indicates how it should be changed or that it does not match. Also one of the great advantages and that is very useful is to know when the shipment shows that it is on hold and the type of hold as well as its details, this serves both to communicate to the customer and to have a better management of the shipment. On the other hand, a service that makes me feel completely satisfied is the customer service, when I have had questions or problems, they can take a while to answer, but the attention is detailed and fast compared to others. An opportunity to improve, from my perspective, would be the response time when requesting help via email to the customer service. It has helped us, for example, when there is a problem with HBL transmissions, or to realize when the shipping company has not transmitted its BLs because there is no match, when a container is detained and we cannot see specifically why, as well as to know details of the detention and how much cargo is being inspected, the details of when it is accepted or rejected by CBP, etc. it is definitely a great tool to keep track of our shipments and facilitate all documentation/transmissions according to the country's regulations. With the introduction of the new tariffs, many are now layered based on the country, and our team has observed that some of the necessary tariffs for import are not appearing as they should. Additionally, it was outdated; as customs requirements changed, our old system failed to adapt, forcing us to continue entering information that was no longer necessary. The system lacks a REST API for third-party integrations, as far as I know, which would really help in uploading lines efficiently instead of manually entering them. The initial setup was rocky, and the onboarding process took quite a bit of time. The lack of convenient, searchable documentation made it necessary to watch videos and query customer service.
