Depositions by Filevine Reviews & Product Details

Depositions by Filevine is an AI-powered legal technology solution that helps litigation teams schedule, conduct, and review depositions all in one place — that means no more juggling disconnected tools or chasing down logistics manually. From pre-deposition scheduling to post-deposition transcript delivery and case file storage, Depositions by Filevine keeps your team organized at every stage. Built on the combined foundation of the acquired Parrot.us platform and Filevine's own Depo CoPilot, the product brings together scheduling automation, real-time AI analysis, and post-deposition review in a single, unified workflow. It was designed to solve a problem every litigation team knows well: the time and coordination it takes just to get a deposition done, let alone documented and filed correctly. Filevine has spent over a decade as a legal work platform of record, and today more than 125,000 legal professionals rely on it. Headquartered in Salt Lake City with offices globally, the company has been recognized by the LegalTech Breakthrough Awards, The SaaS Awards, the Deloitte Technology Fast 500, and the Business Intelligence AI Excellence Award. Depositions by Filevine is built to scale across solo practitioners, mid-sized litigation teams, large law firms, and insurance carriers managing high deposition volumes. Whether you're handling a handful of cases or hundreds, the workflow holds up. Key features include: One-click scheduling: Legal teams can book depositions, assign court reporters, generate secure video conference links, send notices to all parties, and set reminders automatically. Eliminate hours of back-and-forth coordination, in just one click. AI-powered real-time assistance: During proceedings, an AI second chair tracks attorney-set goals, flags inconsistencies in testimony, compares witness answers against uploaded case documents, and suggests follow-up questions as testimony unfolds. Same-day transcripts and summaries: Rough draft transcripts and AI-generated deposition summaries are delivered within hours of proceedings concluding, with certified transcripts available within days. Centralized case file integration: All transcripts, video recordings, exhibits, and clips are automatically stored and searchable within the case record, keeping every piece of testimony organized and accessible. Standalone availability: Depositions by Filevine can be purchased independently, without requiring a full Filevine platform subscription, allowing firms to easily integrate it into existing workflows. The platform has supported the scheduling of nearly 51,000 depositions, saving an estimated 62,500 hours of staff time. That’s the equivalent of 30 years of full-time effort and nearly $2 million in cost savings (based on average paralegal salaries). By automating time-intensive administrative tasks and surfacing real-time intelligence during proceedings, Depositions by Filevine enables legal professionals to focus on case strategy and client outcomes rather than logistical coordination. It’s built to scale across solo practitioners, mid-sized litigation teams, large law firms, and insurance carriers managing high deposition volumes. For legal teams ready to modernize how they handle depositions, Filevine delivers the infrastructure to do it at scale, without the chaos.
