Simple and Straightforward PAM Solution That's Simple to Setup **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2020 **What do you like best about Delinea Cloud Suite?** I think the most helpful part of Centrify Zero Trust is how simple it was to setup. We were looking at one of their major competitors, and they were saying it could be months to a year to setup. We were able to get 98% of of the product up and running and implemented with professional services in less than 2 weeks around July 4th. The product is absolutely what we needed in terms of PAM. We were able to pull in servers and even workstations to be able to grant PAM privileges. The workflow customization is pretty awesome in how granular you want to be in terms of approval, etc. The MFA setup was great and fairly easy. In addition, deploying out to systems is as simple as pushing a button and then verifying the system. When we looked at other systems, none of them were as simple and straightforward to use as Centrify's offering **What do you dislike about Delinea Cloud Suite?** I wouldn't say there's something not helpful about Centrify's Zero trust, but one thing I dislike about the product is there relatively recent split of services into both Centrify and Idaptive. It's been somewhat of a pain to track the URL's and it was a pain to go through this with the two vendors and trying to get a straight answer. If you are a new customer, this probably isn't an issue, but this has been my biggest disappointment since using the product. **Recommendations to others considering Delinea Cloud Suite:** Compare Centrify's offering to some of the other big players in the PAM space. Compare the solutions and ask about implementation time, cost, professional services cost, and compare the interfaces. I think you will see Centrify as a more cost effective, easier solution to implement **What problems is Delinea Cloud Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** We didn't have a PAM solution before Centrify Zero Trust. After implementing, we gained insight and security restrictions on who can access a system, when, and what for. We even rolled this out to our workstations/laptops as we removed local admin privileges for these. This tool has helped us to allow elevated privileges for end users temporarily if needed with limiting exposure. In addition, we are now able to force MFA for servers, gain screenshots and what was done while a user is on a server, again helping with security and insight into systems. ### 2. The zone structure and computer role, and role assignment is the unique way to grant role based access control on both unix and windows machine **What do you dislike about Delinea Cloud Suite?** Only feature it is lacking is the unix group mapping feqture at the co6nputer role. In my opinion, the computer eole is not complete without ability to manage unix group at this level and only option remai s today is it can be either managed at zone or at the computer itself. **What problems is Delinea Cloud Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** Unix ad bridging ### 6. The UI isn't particularly flashy but it's very simple and I've had no issues since using the software. **What do you dislike about Delinea Cloud Suite?** It appears that the mobile app will only work if you completely wipe your mobile of applications and memory. Since I use my personal phone for work, I did not download the mobile application from the Google Play store. **Recommendations to others considering Delinea Cloud Suite:** Please make it so I don't have to wipe my personal mobile phone completely clean to install Centrify. **What problems is Delinea Cloud Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a SSO solution and being able to log into all my business critical software with a single username and password. ### 7. Access control is as granular as you choose. Everyone at Centrify (account reps, case managers, Professional Services, ...) has been great to work with. **What do you dislike about Delinea Cloud Suite?** I dislike having to enter 40 characters when I don't have anything to type in here. The upload screenshot section below doesn't work. I tried jpeg and png. **What problems is Delinea Cloud Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** Standardizing from multiple authentication methods (LDAP, NIS) into a common AD-based authentication scheme. This past year, Centrify helped us work through our issues with MFA requirements. We're in a current engagement with Professional Services on an AD consolidation project, and I will bring them back in next year to help convert an LDAP environment to Centrify. ### 16. Boom, worked. Pretty much flawlessly. Integrating Centrify with AD to manage a fleet of Apple Laptops? Also boom, worked. Support has also been top notch. **What do you dislike about Delinea Cloud Suite?** Nothing specific to Centrify products. The things I dislike are more a function of inherent problems with or bugs in Apple or Microsoft products. **What problems is Delinea Cloud Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** Manage Apple laptops.
