"Instant Video Recording at its best with Debut"

What do you like best about Debut?

I like the different options to record a video. I can record a video in .mp4, .wmv etc. There are different use of the different formats. I do work with video processing for my research and I can record any screen in .wmv format for programming purposes. Whereas I can record the video in .mp3 format for any presentation or assignment. The best thing is that there is no lagging in video with the voice captured with the default mic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Debut?

What I dislike the most is that this software does not allow you to switch off the camera when you want. Probably that is a paid privilege but it could have been added with the free service. But who counts it as a disadvantage? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Debut:

I want to say that if your .mp4 format recording does not support the demo timeline, you can use another format (.wmv) and record and then convert the recording to .mp4 format. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Debut solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am solving the problem of recording my assignment which has to be recorded while keeping my camera on the screen. This software is almost lag-free and it is easy to operate. Hence, I choose this software over another fancy software. It also records the recorded videos in a separate file. It's not always obvious where it stores your videos, so you have to be on top of that. Just save each one where you want it, and don't rely on the default saving place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Debut:

Try it out first on a demo basis - there is a free trial period. Get to know it - it is very intuitive, so the learning curve is very short. Maybe find YouTube vids on using it first, then get the trial and get to know it. Likely you will keep it as it is very near perfect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Debut solving and how is that benefiting you?

"Request for Money back or better tech support"

What do you like best about Debut?

I am very disappointed in the level of technical support. My Debut product used to work, but then stopped recording the microphone of my computer. It is not a computer problem, as I have no problem recording zoom meetings using the zoom record process. I have contacted customer support with the result that the response is disinterested and not helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Debut?

Overall I like the fact that the software is there for anyone who wants to use it. There's no hassle to getting debut, and it's simple enough to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Debut?

I disliked that I wan't able to do a complete video edit. I feel that the trial of debut wasn't sufficient enough for the project that I used it for. Even though it did get the job done, I had to constantly switch computers and re download the software because it was used for a team project.
