dbForge Query Builder for SQL Server is a tool for quick creation of SQL queries and extended data management, it allows to create any complex queries to SQL Server databases with visual diagram where you can "draw" your query. Adding tables, creating joins, or editing conditions will be as simple as several slicks of the brush.
I like writing my query like text as usual, but the ability to switch to an automatically made visual mapping really helps me soak in the abstract process at hand. And it comes with a 30-day trial so you can really test the full range of it's benefits.
What do you dislike?
Although it really portrays subqueries in useful manner, it is difficult to fully distinguish the exact process of joins through its visualization
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Mostly I use the query builder to visualize sql operations for non-sql developers and those unfamiliar with relational design theory. I can design an abstract for a schema and actually display it's use through writing complex queries and walking everyone through the relational design with the aid of the visual mapping.
