We started by labeling container images from some test cameras at the ports. Their annotation tools made it a breeze to mark out the different container types, and we even did some processing with OCR tech to pull out the container ID numbers. The automated training was damn amazing—could test different model setups quickly without needing deep ML knowledge. The real-time metrics also helped us fine-tune the model's accuracy. Now, we’re testing to see if it can really power a solution that tracks container movements reliably and automatically updates our shipping management system. v good We also checked out Datature to build our automated document processing system for shipping docs. IIRC, labeling different sections of shipping manifests and bills of lading was super easy thanks to their platform. The best part? The no-code interface, man—our ops team could join in on the labeling without any fuss. After a few rounds of training and testing, the model was nailing it, picking out key fields like vessel details, dates, and container numbers. The deployment options were straightforward, and imo, it’s something we could definitely consider integrating into our document workflow to save hours of manual data entry. Damn good imo ### 9. It is extremely easy to use and it is able to produce quality segmentation for all of my datasets of different use cases. Thanks to the ease of use, my team has been using intellibrush frequently for all of our labelling needs. The platform also supports plenty of annotation formats which allows my team to easily transition and onboard our existing labels and data. **What do you dislike about Datature?** Intellibrush occasionally isn't pixel-perfect for some weird objects, but they have an AI refine tool that fixes the issues most of the time. **What problems is Datature solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our research often collate thousands of scene dataset in form of images and video. Previously, using CVAT, it would have taken us a couple of weeks to label them all. Through Datature, my team was able to label them in a couple of days. This is only possible through their suite of intelligent tools and the ability to train a computer vision model to label most of my dataset. This means that my team typical only had to label 10-20% of our dataset manually using those intelligent tools, train a computer vision model, and use that model to label the remaining dataset. ### 18. I like their similarity search feature, so that I can easily filter out images where people aren't wearing masks and just annotate the images with masks. **What do you dislike about Datature?** Would have liked their model recommendation system to integrate with their dataset aggregation statistics has part of their recommendation considerations. **What problems is Datature solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was trying to develop a model to check if students were wearing masks for entry requirements in certain locations in the university over COVID. It took me a good month to do that on my own, but now that I've joined Datature Nexus it only takes me a day every time I run a training to finetune my model. It also allows users to customize models where needed, giving maximum flexibility that other platforms do not offer. Annotation pricing is reasonable.
