What I like best is the combination of strong security and intuitive organization — granular permission controls make it easy to restrict access by group or individual, redaction and watermarking keep sensitive documents protected, and the folder structure/search make it simple to navigate large volumes of documents quickly. The Q&A workflow also keeps communication with counterparties organized, and the platform stays stable and responsive even with heavy document volume Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My main frustrations are around cost and a few workflow rough edges. Pricing is expensive relative to other data room providers, and the per-page/duration-based charges aren't always transparent, especially if a deal runs past its original timeline. On the usability side, bulk uploads and searches can be slower than expected with large volumes of documents, the Q&A tool can feel clunky (questions get buried and there's no clean way to hide resolved ones), and access controls don't fully solve the problem of documents already downloaded before access was revoked. Permissions and folder restrictions can also be confusing for users who are new to the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
