"Centralized HR Processes with Efficient Mobile Access"
4/5
What do you like best about Darwinbox?

I initially liked how Darwinbox's interface felt cleaner and easier. The best part is how many HR processes are centralized in this one platform, instead of using separate tools or long email processes for things like lead management, attendance, approvals, pay, leaves, and employer records. Most things are accessible in one place, which is very convenient. The mobile app experience is also quite convenient, especially for quickly checking new balances, whether approvals are received or not, holiday calendars for checking upcoming holidays, or reimbursement status. From an employee's perspective, it reduces the dependency on HR teams for smaller routine tasks since a lot of information is available directly on the platform. This saves time for both employees and HR departments. The approval workflows are also fairly smooth, allowing managers and employees to complete tasks, raise, or provide approvals quickly without unnecessary follow-ups. The setup was pretty straightforward, and our analyst team was efficient in setting it up, so it was good to go from day one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Darwinbox?

There are occasional glitches or delays during peak usage periods, especially around appraisal cycles or reimbursement deadlines. Some sections require navigating through multiple menus before reaching the desired page, which increases the time to raise a specific request. The reporting and analytics options could be more flexible for managers who want customized views. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Versatile HR Tool, Smooth App Experience"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Darwinbox?

I like how Darwinbox's updated version is better and that I don't need to open the website because we have a good app. Applying leave is easy without complication, and the app accurately shows locations and organizational activity through feeds. I can see who is available and who is not on leave, and notifications remind me to regularize. The simple login steps with no complications also make it easy to use. What do you dislike about Darwinbox?

Sometimes it gets hung, but the updated Darwinbox is better. Also, it sometimes takes late to load, and I'm not sure if it's my network issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Smooth, Straightforward Darwinbox Onboarding—But Recruitment Still Needs Work"
3/5
What do you like best about Darwinbox?

I found the onboarding process on Darwinbox to be straightforward and easy to follow. Uploading documents was simple, and I was able to digitally sign and attest the required documents, along with the necessary declarations, without any hassle.

Overall, it turned what is usually a complex and painstaking process into a smooth, easy flow.

Integrates organization workflows nicely. Features are just adequate, no more no less. Org integrations like leave application were easy to use and straightforward.

One feature that I personally liked a lot was the digital offer letter, I didn't have to download the file, could easily go through it on the website and it was automatically sent to my Email as well (after acceptance). I did not have to take the burden of downloading, manually signing and editing the pdf using a third party tool and then uploading the signed doc. I only had to confirm acceptance and digitally sign on the website itself, which I appreciate.

Performance seems good enough, handled file uploads without lagging, keeping in mind that the upload limits are a bit more relaxed as compared to the norm.

Did not find any AI/Intelligence/Automation features, they are not visible if present. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Darwinbox?

The UI isn’t great. It feels clunky and could be much smoother, and also more aesthetically pleasing—even for a professional tool. Personally, I think a more minimalist interface with blue accents would work better than the current design. As I explored the various features and the website in general, the overall experience still felt awkward and not very modern.

One feature and organisation integration I particularly disliked was the recruitment portal. It’s just plain bad on multiple levels. From the very first step, the application process is nowhere near as thorough as it should be. After applying, there’s no way to track, edit, delete, or modify an application in any way. The worst part is that an organisation may keep recruiting for the same opening for months, and during that entire time I can’t change or delete my existing application. A lot in my personal profile and CV had changed, and I had become a much more relevant candidate for a particular opening, but I couldn’t apply again because DarwinBox already had an application from me that I submitted around 4–5 months ago. That older application was completely irrelevant by then, yet it still prevented me from applying to a highly desirable and relevant job where I could have been an ideal candidate. "Intuitive, All-in-One HR Platform That Simplifies the Entire Employee Lifecycle"
5/5
What do you like best about Darwinbox?

What I like most about Darwinbox is its intuitive, user-friendly interface paired with comprehensive HR functionality in a single platform. It brings together core HR, payroll, attendance, performance management, and employee self-service seamlessly, so it’s easy to manage the entire employee lifecycle without having to switch between multiple systems.

The platform is highly customizable and adaptable to different organizational needs, which makes implementation smooth and scalable as the company grows. I also appreciate the automation features and analytics dashboards that provide real-time insights, reduce manual effort, and improve decision-making. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Darwinbox?

At times, certain advanced customizations or report configurations can feel complex and may require support assistance rather than being fully self-service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"SriPowerful, User-Friendly HR Platform with Modern Design and Real-Time Insights"
5/5
What do you like best about Darwinbox?

What I like best about Darwinbox is how it combines powerful HR functionality with a very user-friendly and modern interface. It doesn’t just automate HR processes like payroll, attendance, and performance management—it actually enhances the employee experience through features like mobile accessibility and real-time insights.

I also appreciate that Darwinbox is built with a strong focus on innovation, using technologies like AI and analytics to help organizations make smarter people decisions. The fact that it is a fast-growing global platform, especially originating from Asia, makes it even more exciting because it shows how impactful and scalable the product is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Darwinbox?

While I really admire Darwinbox for its innovation and user-friendly design, one area that could be improved is the learning curve for some of its advanced features. Because the platform is quite comprehensive, new users or smaller teams might initially find it a bit overwhelming to fully utilize all its capabilities.

Additionally, as with many rapidly evolving SaaS platforms, there can sometimes be a need for more customization flexibility or quicker feature updates based on specific client requirements. That said, these are natural challenges for a growing product, and they also reflect how feature-rich the platform is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive HR Solution with Seamless Integrations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Darwinbox?

I like that Darwinbox connects a lot of the tools in our office. It connects the payroll system, the learning modules, and the learning management system. We use it for all our human resources requirements, including promotions, coaching, calendar leaves, both planned and unplanned leaves. It's great for launching program charters and requests too. Plus, we have our rewards and remunerations all managed within Darwinbox. It resolves pretty much everything we need for human resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Darwinbox?

Just one thing, with the Darwinbox mobile app. When you're logging in, in the morning, it requires a very long and tedious security setting process. I'm not sure if that is through Darwinbox or through the settings of the bank. There's a single sign-on, and then you need to use your biometrics just to log in. I hope that the whole process could be shortened. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
