I can input far into the future and allow myself to be able to make reoccuring tasks as well. These tasks can have notes attached to them that I can look back on at a later time to give more insight to a certain task. Overall the software is fairly easy to use and can be learned pretty quickly. **What do you dislike about Dakota ProActivity EHS Software?** The least helpful thing that I wish the software had was the ability to make a task show a different color in the tracer calendar mode if it was in progress, such as yellow. Sometimes it can be easy to overlook a task, whether I have started it or not by just looking at the calendar. All dots are only green for completed or gray for incomplete. We are able to input when certain reports are due or permits are going to expire. The ability to have graphical representation is extremely helpful when discussing safety areas of improvement with colleagues. I really appreciate several features: uploading several Tracer items with just a few clicks, filtering/unfiltering data within the graphs, and setting up alerts for action item reminders. **What do you dislike about Dakota ProActivity EHS Software?** I would like to see a few minor changes. I'd like to be able to add attachments in Edit mode and not before or after editing. When in tracer and organization mode, clicking on the small checkboxes to populate the right View screen is counterintuitive. I should be able to click on the file name in the file folder view to populate the View screen. Lastly, when reporting a near miss, it would be nice to have the Required Fields automatically indicated with the asterisk. It is a great tool for internal auditing to keep your site or organization in compliance with OSHA regulations for any and all EHS programs. While we have not yet expanded to other modules internally, the system also makes it very easy to create and track action items for closing gaps when identified, and their compliance module is extremely helpful for visibility on compliance based items, like annual reports, permit requirments, site or company requirements, and more. We are currently exploring more ways to implement Dakota long term. The Dakota team is extremely responsive to any and all inquiries, and is very quick to help resolve. They're training is also great. They will record and send sessions to your team that can be uploaded to a company intranet for onboarding and training. **What do you dislike about Dakota ProActivity EHS Software?** While the system offers some really great tools and capabilities, it can be a little bit clunky to work in. The pages load fairly slow, so navigating can be frustrating and take up quite a bit of time. It also is not user friendly in internet applications, such as Firefox or Internet Explorer, so ensuring people have access to Microsoft Edge or another Dakota friendly system is critical. **What problems is Dakota ProActivity EHS Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** The auditor module consistently assists the organization with both internal auditing and self assessments at each of the sites. The upsides are that the program is customizable to a facility's specific situation. It is a very easy to use application after you learn how to click through the various parts of the program, but you need someone to show you a lot of it.
