**What do you like best about Expandi Group?**

The pattern of segregating the keyword intent as per different topics/niches is very impressive. And also very helpful to pull the data on behalf of any particular account/company details. Options are available to export audience details for programmatic advertisement as per our requirement.

**What do you dislike about Expandi Group?**

We can't check real-time data, and we always have to be patient for a one-week minimum to get the latest intent details.

It's beneficial for our team to understand audience behavior.

**What do you like best about Expandi Group?**

The interface is really nice and it provides a nice user experience

**What do you dislike about Expandi Group?**

All it does it give you the data about what people from companies are searching for. It doesnt give you any indication of persona, or level of the searcher which makes it an issue, it's a lot of money for themes and company names. 18500 is a lot of money for just some vague data and their account management was pretty vague e.g. when we asked for average CPMQL they couldnt give us that.

**Recommendations to others considering Expandi Group:**

Improve customer service and be more flexible with the contracts. The reason why we left was because they couldn't provide evidence that the software has worked

**What problems is Expandi Group solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For us we inherited the system, it was supposed to give us intel about what our ICP was researching - but it didnt give us any intel that tools such as lead forensics doesnt give us.

**What do you like best about Expandi Group?**

The quality of Nexus intent data is best-in-class when it comes to 3rd party intent data on accounts and companies. 

 The platform provides granular insights on your markets and solution areas, with multilingual options, and the ability to switch out keywords and topics easily if required.

You can also use filters to quickly refine your search for company data in what is often quite a broad data set.

**What do you dislike about Expandi Group?**

There are some areas of improvement, such as identifying the new companies, but the team have made some recent fixes and new features are being added all the time, which is always great to see!

**Recommendations to others considering Expandi Group:**

You should use Nexus aligned to your ABM and Demand Gen programme objectives - working with an experienced partner can also drive down time to ROI.

**What problems is Expandi Group solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been looking for 3rd party data on companies so we can prioritise accounts within our sales and marketing programmes. Nexus provides us with the data to help validate our account selection for account-based marketing & sales.

It also helps us define our priority markets and understand buyer behaviour at the next level! 

Great for GTM research, planning and segmentation.

Helps you waste less time and less marketing spend, if done right.

**What do you dislike about Expandi Group?**

It's almost like installing enterprise software. It takes an enormous amount of setup and patience and with constant tinkering, which is a skill set few have learnt yet with it being so new.

**Recommendations to others considering Expandi Group:**

Be extremely targeted with your keywords, especially if we blend it into sales outreach. We went a little vague with a few and when using that in direct outreach, it wasn't hitting the nail on the head.

**What problems is Expandi Group solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Where to prospect and who to market to. We were very wide in our search, but this has now narrowed it down to movers and shakers. Less spend, more intent, and less time spent on opps that won't lead anywhere.

The ability to create your own keyword sets and themes allows you to gauge true 'intent'.
The ability to create keyword sets in local language is massively useful, especially in EMEA.
The always-on dashboard is very easy to use and stays open throughout the day.

Not yet a full CDP
Doesn't yet connect to my 1st party intent platform

Everything from account selection through informing messaging framework/value prop, content strategy, channel selection, social selling, etc. We squeeze a lot of value out of the platform.
The clickstream platform is so much more comprehensive and wider-reaching than those of their competitors.

Customer service was always really helpful and continued to try and understand our business to help make the most out of the system

**What do you dislike about Expandi Group?**

Ultimately, Nexus didnt align with the direction our sales and marketing strategy. While there were some areas which could help (LinkedIn advertising) cost vs use was not viable. If you are a business who needs to narrow and prioritise from a large section of potential leads this is really helpful.

**What problems is Expandi Group solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was helpful to go understand keywords and which were of value and which were not. This helped influence some of our SEO within other projects, even though it wasn't directly linked to the system.

**What do you like best about Expandi Group?**

I get a lot of benefit from Cyance in tracking target accounts and current clients but also identifying businesses that were not on my radar and might have a buying intent for my product/service. I enjoy seeing results from tracked account and new organisation trending around competitor keywords.

**What do you dislike about Expandi Group?**

I think the information export doesn't quite match the level of insight that is visible on the platform and the export now also contains suggestions of good-fit job titles which are not necessarily relevant and clog the files with additional rows.
If the keyword is quite specific, sometimes no activity is picked up even though there is definitely activity going on from content that I consume and I am certain other people consume too.

For B2B businesses selling to enterprise ICP and having a complex solution, the insight that Cyance is able to generate can be incredibly helpful.

The Cyance team, are extremely proactive that we deal with and great at supporting with issues, queries and training

**What do you dislike about Expandi Group?**

Sometimes there are gaps in the data, that take quite a while to get to the bottom of that don't appear in previous reports

**What problems is Expandi Group solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bridging the messaging strategy gap. We have found it really useful to run intent 3-4 months before running any media so that we can track the market position and build our messaging on that, it has helped to realign many campaigns.

The transparency and flexibility of the keyword list-build process. Topic-based intent products don't provide the detail often needed to understand what an organisation is really looking at, or their overall maturity.

I'd like to export graphics - this could be improved.

Expertise in Excel, pivot table, etc., will help users gain the most value from Cyance.

- Understanding the maturity of certain organisations allows sales teams to develop specific ice-breakers, not going in blindly to a conversation 
- Account prioritisation
- Content adaptation based on market trends revealed by the data

**What do you like best about Expandi Group?**

Easy to use/understand data visualisation and user interface and good intgegrations into other systems (i.e. SFDC) - as a sales/business leader who has sold myriad technologies over several decades, the key to adoption of any technology in an organisation is ease of use. If you can't bring the sales and marketing teams on the journey with you, the whole initiative falls over. Insight without action is pointless. What the team at Cyance have done here is get the UX right. That doesn't mean your team don't need training on it, or how it fits into the overall MarTech/SalesTech stack or process, but making it easy to adopt and use means you have a greater chance at getting it right.

**What do you dislike about Expandi Group?**

TBH it's a great tool and where I've rolled it out there haven't been any issues. I guess for Cyance, the big thing will be developing out more integrations for complementary technologies - the integrations with SFDC, HubSpot and now LinkedIn are already a great start.

**Recommendations to others considering Expandi Group:**

Geographic Coverage: just check how the underlying dataset is built: where is the data sourced from? How is tracking done? Oftentimes, the data build is VERY US-centric, which is great if you're working in that market, not so much anywhere else. Also check the language specificity. Again, English is pretty much a given for most platforms, but if you're working across European territories, other languages are likely to have a major impact.

**What problems is Expandi Group solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is the real test. There are several areas where Nexus has really driven both efficiency and effectiveness. FIrst off, before even going to market, defining where we want to ahve our battles. All too often, organisations rush in to markets without understanding the latent demand for thier products and servivces (or that information hasn't reached the sales team!) What Nexus has allowed us to do is qualify the hypothesis before investing in demand generation. This mitigates time wasted chasing down miniscule sector opportunities and financial risk (ultimate ROI), whilst simultaneously shortening sales cycles (actually target organisations that are looking for solutions we can provide) and improving close rates. As ever, the proof is in the pudding. Doubled qualified pipeline over a nine month period and improved win rates by 20%+ in the first full year of use.

**What do you like best about Expandi Group?**

Nexus is a very bespoke buyer intent platform that enables a hyper-targeted, data-driven account based approach. It enables you to identify the accounts that are currently in an active buying journey and researching highly around your products, solutions and services. 

What I like is how you can really tailor the keywords that the platform is using to pick up the behavioural signals across the web using ML and AI so rather than it being based on topics, it's extremely personalised to the problems and challenges that your products solve. This enables you to be super intelligent with the type of activity going on within that account so you can understand what they care about and then target them with the right message.

The fact also that Nexus enables you to integrate with CRM, Demand-Side Platforms for ultra targeted programmatic and display advertising and LinkedIn for targeted social advertising is also a real game-changer and allows you to activate quickly on the activity going on within accounts in an always on approach.

Cyance also have a fantastic Customer Success team which has really helped to maximise results and advise how we can bake the platform into the overall GTM strategy.

**What do you dislike about Expandi Group?**

Nothing really to dislike, but due to the nature of intent platforms your company needs to be set up appropriately and ready to fully embrace making the switch from traditional marketing to behavioural based marketing. There is some planning and thought that needs to go around making sure sales and marketing teams are fully aligned to get the most out of the platform. However the Cyance team are very knowledgeable about helping teams through the transition.

Reaching the right accounts that are in an active buying journey, establishing what they care about, and then communicating the right message. This has resulted in higher conversion rates for less.

Keyword setup (you should be able to run keyword tests, edit keywords etc yourself).

Prioritising which accounts to target with high-cost ABM campaigns, to better spend our budget on accounts that are more likely to convert.

Cyance's data is the best around, and it is the only solution we could find that covers European geographies in their native languages. The customer support team is great, too.

The quality of the intent signals are perfectly relevant to your industry.
You decide what represents an intent or not for your prospect.
I love how you can be surprised sometimes to see some accounts which are surging intent and you were not expected to.
I also really like how they've progressively made it available and understandable to the sales team so they can action the leads straight from the platform.

Can be a bit pricey but when you see the data you're getting from it, it's more of an investment which you will see the return.

It is an additional cost but the ROI has proven it worthwhile.
