Cost Auto Reviews & Product Details

Cost Auto is a mobile-first profit tracking app built specifically for independent and used car dealers. Instead of managing a desktop DMS back at the office, dealers use Cost Auto on their phone — right on the lot. Scan a VIN with your camera, scan expense receipts, and instantly see a live cost sheet for every vehicle: purchase price, reconditioning, transport, fees, and true profit per car. Cost Auto replaces the paper cost sheet dealers carry in their pocket with a real-time digital version that tracks every dollar from buy to sell. Built for independent dealers, buy-here-pay-here lots, and wholesalers who are underserved by expensive legacy systems. Features include VIN scanning, receipt scanning, per-vehicle expense tracking, daily overhead allocation, sold vehicle reporting, and a real-time profit dashboard — all from any smartphone. $59 per month flat. No per-seat fees. No long-term contract.
