First real digital catalog that shortens your tool building time in CAM-systems **Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Robin J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2023 **What do you like best about CoroPlus® Tool Library?** The easy way to build tools the right way. You build a new tool in 5min even if your not used to the program it's awesome. I use it often to build tool concept to production engineers, and if they want a different length for example an extender I can change it in front of them with 3 clicks. The same ease if I want to change tool-concept. The software is very easy to use and user friendly. The way you can build in cuttingdata in the file is the best, this way you can easily check the cutting data on the tools you are using much more easy than checking it in the CAM-system. When you share your tools it’s also very good to share one file that includes it all. The program is very stable and works good but still they frequently come with relevant updates. And to be honest this is in my experience the world’s first real digital catalogue and not just a analog catalogue done digital, at least in the “cutting technology world”. **What do you dislike about CoroPlus® Tool Library?** I have only tried the Fusion 360 integration and it works good but I think that the window is too small so I often build the tools in my browser and then import them through the Fusion 360 integration. One other thing that needs to get better is the search function, you have to know the artikelnumber On the tool. For example if you have a Capto to SL-tool and want to look for a suitable SL-head for turning you will only get frustrated because you can’t filter on the same way you can on Coromants homepage. Also if you work with fine boring tools like the BR20 you can’t fined it in ToolLibrary. You must search and build it from the spare parts. If you can by a tool from a spare part then you should be able to fined it and build it in ToolLibrary. One other thing is that you need to update so you can put in cuttingdata for all tools. This has been updated the last but it’s not 100%. There is also need to improvement when putting in data manually. This is the only thing that’s not user friendly in this software. **What problems is CoroPlus® Tool Library solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's much more easy to build tools when working with CAM. You often build one tool in CAM and then stick with it because you don't want to do it all over again. With ToolLIbrary it takes 5min including a coffee break. ### 2.
