It would also be great if the system could read the page names and rename the files accordingly after upload, so users wouldn't have to do it manually. On the description and easement line items, your feedback is very helpful. Are you referring to the Summary? Those line descriptions are driven by the condition names in OST, and there is a limit on how long those can be. In OST 4.0, we’ve expanded support for longer condition names (up to 256 characters), which should give you more room to describe items before you ever get to Excel. We hope that helps! The overlay feature for two different sheets. It takes a lot longer time to do the overlay and set up the overlay than other take off software's that I have used. The software allows me to do my take off faster, I can review the plans for notes and other information I need while the Auto page is running and while Boost is running. On-Screen Takeoff has a very clear Interface that makes our daily job easier for estimating Quantities for Flooring, and other Miscellaneous takeoffs. Compared to the other estimating software i have used, OST has way more options and useful tools. OST was built with power users like you in mind, so it’s great to hear those keyboard functions are paying off for your workflow. I’m also glad you were able to attend the OST class in Utah; those sessions are exactly where we love hearing the kinds of real‑world recommendations you mentioned. On the window behavior, you’ve raised some helpful specifics. The second window can be controlled with right‑click panning, and you can open multiple additional windows that include the measurement tool so you’re not limited to just one. That said, the View and Annotation (2) and View (3) windows are primarily intended as reference views today, which is why they behave a bit differently.. Adding capabilities like right‑click panning or enhanced measurement options in those reference windows is something our product team is actively reviewing based on feedback like yours. The annual fees tend to be on the higher side, and there are times when they increase significantly. Some of the automatic tools do not function as expected, which can be frustrating.
