What I like best about On-Screen Takeoff® is how organized and flexible it is. I like that it compiles all of my takeoff data in one place, allows me to turn items on and off once they’ve been taken off, and lets me create groups for different areas. One aspect I find frustrating about On-Screen Takeoff® is that its navigation feels more restricted than in tools like Bluebeam, particularly when trying to move around the page. I would appreciate smoother cursor movement and faster zoom capabilities. Additionally, copying and pasting identical conditions is not very intuitive, which tends to slow down repetitive takeoff tasks. I can't say for certain whether this feature exists, but having quick links automatically added when you upload files would be extremely helpful. It would also be great if the system could read the page names and rename the files accordingly after upload, so users wouldn't have to do it manually. On the description and easement line items, your feedback is very helpful. Are you referring to the Summary? Those line descriptions are driven by the condition names in OST, and there is a limit on how long those can be. In OST 4.0, we’ve expanded support for longer condition names (up to 256 characters), which should give you more room to describe items before you ever get to Excel. We hope that helps! Using AutoName feature saves times and inputs the complete sheet name and sheet number in a very short time. The option to use the Boost feature which is the main reason for using On Screen Takeoff. What problems is On-Screen Takeoff® solving and how is that benefiting you?

On Screen Takeoff along with Boost has total changed how i do my take offs. The software allows me to do my take off faster, I can review the plans for notes and other information I need while the Auto page is running and while Boost is running. After those tasks are completed I just to review the sheets, make some adjustments, assign conditions and then I have my footages.
