I love that this app lets me schedule story and feed posts from the device without the need for a browser. You're able to schedule and automate those postings. It's not like buffer where you need a reminder and have to go and manually post. This is an automated as I could get for a desktop app. The aesthetics and the layout of the app is pretty cool too. It's nothing fancy. It is very streamlined and clean but it also isn't outdated and it doesn't look cheap or fake. I also love that I don't have to subscribe to a lot of things or break my bank to use the service or the feature. I do dislike that it doesn't have more aesthetics to help with usage. The program is pretty cool by itself. The other issue that I have is that it does freeze when I start my computer up and I have to force quit it. I absolutely loathe that about this program. I have several programs that start up when the computer starts up and logs in and do not freeze. This is a major issue. However, it is not a reason to forgo the software. Combin as a growth tool is performing very poorly. It is not at the level of some other bots. Instagram reacts almost instantly to a simple search, searches take a long time, my account was blocked on the first use, you cannot use the bot for 48 hours, as soon as I want to close the application it bugs and does not close, I am forced to force quit it and now I can no longer send a simple message on my personal account.

Combin theoretically gives the ability to mass like and comment on Instagram posts, search by hash tag, bio text, location, etc. Giving the ability to speed up engagement with followers and reach new ones. Just being able to see posts in a grid rather than scrolling is a great time saver. Pricing is very affordable, which can be a pro or a con. Instagram has gotten smart to this automation and is quick to block access. Unfortunately negating a lot of what Combin has promised, even when operating conservatively. Our account has repeatedly been put on short term bans and one that lasted for weeks. There is not a lot of support for knowing what to do when something like this happens and a lot of trial and error is needed. Instagram is very vague about why and how to unlock accounts, even though I understand the folks and Combin cannot know what goes on behind the curtain of IG, they should be familiar enough to provide some assistance to protect users, including keeping users from spamming. The automation is great. you can search geography, hashtags, users, etc. On the free version, you can use it to auto-like or comment on up to 50 posts in different searches. I do not have experience with the paid version but you are allowed to refresh your searches and search for more results.

I like the auto commenting because you can load in different comments to be used, rather than repeating the same one over and over. Just be careful with auto commenting, you never know if a comment will land on a picture that doesn't make sense or feels inappropriate.

The starter pack offers a lot to users. By choosing not to pay for the service, you do miss out on some basic conveniences like having multiple accounts logged in, getting more search results, refreshes searches, rather than having to search them all over again for new posts.

Combin also limits the number of likes and comments in a time span to stop your accounts from being banned for too much engagement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Instagram is constantly updating its terms on what third-party apps can and cannot do. Auto-liking and commenting is usually the first thing to be shut down. This is not the fault of Combin. Just using the product has caused some security concerns from Instagram so it will log me out or make me change my password. Again, not the fault of Combin but it is a downside.

I would like to have the ability to log in to multiple accounts on the free version. logging in and out is a hassle. But I understand that the price I pay for being on the trial package. I would also like the free version to have the ability to at least do a trial with the new scheduling aspect. I wouldn't pay for something that I cant try but if I can automate and schedule in the same program, that would be a bonus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It has a very easy search feature and it does the actions on its on in the background without you having to monitor it. Also very convenient features where you don't take long to learn how it works or how to go about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It doesn't have many filters such as search people who commented on your posts or analytics available yet. Also you need to decide if you want either 1 or 3 paid accounts - you cannot have 1 paid and 1 unpaid account yet or 2 paid accounts! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
