It easy to develop any web application using HTML,CSS, PHP. The plugins are very helpful, I am very happy that they have plugins for the Angular JS and Wordpress. It is very easy to use, most of the software options are self explanatory. **What do you dislike about Codelobster?** It felt a little unfinished in places, there are a couple of spelling mistakes and a couple of images have been used without due care and attention. I think perhaps it has been built by programmers for programmers, which is a good thing but maybe needs a designer to take a quick look at it and give them some notes. It ran on Windows, not a crime in and of itself but because I run a Mac setup at home I could only really test it in work - I should say it handled our projects without a hitch and helped me out a lot. **Recommendations to others considering Codelobster:** I have used CodeLobster for the WIndows system for suggesting to my company. The main reason we did not implement it because we are using Mac OS. My personal laptop is installed with the Windows OS. So please check all the conditions before implementing it. **What problems is Codelobster solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am building a Wordpress website for a small company (non- profit). By using code lobster it is really easy to build website using worpress plugin. But I did not completely used this product for building the website as the company already using other IDE. But I checked the possibility of this. ### 2. I like it because it supports a variety of programming languages. What struck me most is that its console and its autocomplete tool, which although it must be configured before use, is a very complete tool. I am also surprised with the ease of opening large files. **What do you dislike about Codelobster?** I am not at all happy with the add-ons of this editor, since they lack integration with git and the add-on that is installed is very limited. You can create project files and also has autocomplete built in (obviously if it's an IDE). There are multiple plugins in the professional version. The syntax it supports currently is PHP 7.x, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. The price is about mid-level (compared to other PHP IDEs) but they do it have for cheaper sometimes on software deals site. I found with other IDEs your having to pay to upgrade to the next "major release" (which actually is not much different than the previous version) and with CodeLobster, you're only paying once. **What do you dislike about Codelobster?** The interface could use an upgrade. As an example, you can rename files but you can't copy, move, or delete them from within the IDE. To do this, you have to open Windows File Explorer, copy/move/delete it and then go back to CodeLobster and reload the project (causing a one-step process to turn into a three-step process). On top of that, if you reload a project after updating Composer packages, it sometimes crashes (maybe a way to manage Composer from within the IDE?). Their website is also a bit outdated. There are the plugins for it but they're all from CodeLobster and it'd be good if third-parties could create their own plugins for it. **Recommendations to others considering Codelobster:** If you want a product that gets the job done and doesn't need to be an over the top extraordinary PHP IDE, CodeLobster is the one. **What problems is Codelobster solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to code in PHP without having to break out more money every year for the same product. ### 9. I like the different themes so depending on the place I'm at, I can change how it looks to make it easier to see with just a few clicks. Being able to pair this with Filezilla and locally editing individual files is awesome. I love how it will automatically put the ending curly bracket when you put down an opening one. We do Joomla development and we have used the Joomla plugin to create the skeleton of Joomla components and Modules in the past and the skeletons are pretty useful for people starting out in creating custom Joomla extensions from scratch. **What do you dislike about Codelobster?** Every time I upgrade (install a new version), all my settings get reset and I have to go in and re-set everything back up. This includes any custom theme colors, tool bars, panel positions, closed panels, etc. Basically it resets all the settings every time you upgrade to a new version. The only recognition for Joomla calls is if you are in a Joomla Project created inside the premium plugin. I'd like to be able to add include paths or reference paths in general to make it easy to work on multiple sites easily. **Recommendations to others considering Codelobster:** Play with the free version and Trial before you buy. The free version has a lot to offer right out of box. But if you develop for some of the platforms they have premium plugins for, give them a try as they can save you some time starting out. **What problems is Codelobster solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps us not make careless errors like missing a semicolon on the end of a statement or a missing bracket. inside the same file, it helps us make sure the variable is spelled correctly and has the proper case. ### 13. By using this tools, they are very much lightweight. Speed, Reliable, Fast and good debugging facility. Although support version controlling system and FTP access as well.
