Clouds Analytics Reviews & Product Details

Clouds Analytics is a comprehensive multi-cloud management platform designed to provide organizations with enhanced visibility, control, and optimization of their cloud resources across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud environments. By integrating FinOps, AI-powered observability, and code-to-cloud security, Clouds Analytics offers a unified solution for managing cloud infrastructure efficiently. One of the core features of Clouds Analytics is its Global Inventory, which automatically discovers and catalogs every service running across connected cloud accounts. This includes compute instances, databases, storage, networking components, containers, and serverless functions. The agentless setup ensures that organizations can achieve full visibility without the need to install additional software or agents, facilitating a quick and seamless integration process. To address the challenge of idle resources contributing to unnecessary costs, Clouds Analytics provides a Resource Scheduler. This feature allows users to define operational schedules for resources such as virtual machines (VMs), RDS databases, and Auto Scaling groups. By automating the start and stop times based on predefined schedules, organizations can significantly reduce idle spend, with many users reporting up to a 65% reduction in non-production costs. Cost optimization is further enhanced through Rightsizing Recommendations. By analyzing real-time metrics, including 95th and 99th percentile CPU and memory usage, Clouds Analytics identifies over-provisioned resources and suggests appropriate adjustments. These recommendations can be applied directly or exported as code, enabling teams to implement changes through their existing CI/CD pipelines. For organizations utilizing Kubernetes, Clouds Analytics offers detailed cost insights down to the pod level. This functionality supports both Amazon EKS and Azure AKS, providing cost breakdowns by cluster, namespace, workload, and pod. By identifying idle nodes and over-provisioned resources, teams can make informed decisions to optimize their Kubernetes environments effectively. Security is a critical component of Clouds Analytics. The platform conducts continuous security audits of cloud configurations, benchmarking against industry standards such as the CIS benchmarks. It identifies potential vulnerabilities, including publicly accessible storage buckets, open ports, weak IAM configurations, and unencrypted data. Each finding is severity-ranked, accompanied by actionable recommendations to enhance the organization's security posture. Access control within Clouds Analytics is managed through tag-based and resource-based permissions. This approach ensures that team members have appropriate access levels tailored to their roles, promoting a least-privilege security model. All actions are logged in a comprehensive audit trail, providing transparency and accountability. The platform also includes robust reporting and alerting capabilities. Users receive daily, weekly, and monthly reports, along with real-time alerts for significant events such as cost anomalies or security issues. This proactive approach enables organizations to address potential problems promptly, maintaining operational efficiency and security. Clouds Analytics is designed for rapid deployment, with an agentless setup that can be completed in approximately two minutes per cloud account. This ease of integration allows organizations to quickly gain comprehensive visibility and control over their cloud environments without the complexities associated with traditional management tools. In summary, Clouds Analytics offers a holistic solution for multi-cloud management, combining cost optimization, security auditing, and operational control into a single, user-friendly platform. Its features are tailored to help organizations reduce costs, enhance security, and improve overall cloud resource management.
