Guardian Reviews & Product Details

Drift is silent. A firewall rule changes, a service account gains permissions, a patch lands on one server but not its twin. None of it shows until an outage, an incident review or an audit. The Uptime Institute Annual Outage Analysis 2026 attributes 41% of major network outages to configuration or change management failure. Guardian is configuration drift detection and change validation software for hybrid enterprise IT estates. It captures a known-good baseline across servers, end-user computing, networks, cloud and containers, monitors configuration continuously, and shows exactly what changed, where and when. Every detected change is reconciled against its change request in ServiceNow, FreshService, Ivanti Neurons or BMC Helix, so approved and unapproved change are separated in real time. Key capabilities: - Continuous configuration drift detection across on-premises, any cloud and Kubernetes - Change reconciliation against ServiceNow, FreshService, Ivanti Neurons and BMC Helix - Comparison between servers and environments, including production, test and DR - Embedded CIS Benchmarks and custom policies, assessed continuously - Audit-ready evidence for FCA, SOX, DORA, NIS2, GDPR and ISO 27001 - Forensic change history to cut the time to root cause Guardian is vendor-agnostic and sits outside your existing tooling. IT operations, change, security and compliance teams get one independent view of the estate, including the parts that suppliers and outsourcers change on your behalf. Guardian is available on the ServiceNow Store. More than 50 enterprises use Guardian, including NYSE, Amadeus, Akamai, Bangor Savings Bank and Ascensus. A fully functional free trial is available: scan your own estate or use demo data, no credit card required. Built by Cloudhouse, the London-based enterprise software company that has helped more than 500 enterprises control and modernise their estates since 2010.
