We hired a developer for a React Native project. For the first two days, everything seemed fine. Then we noticed the code he was submitting was not his own. He was using a code generator and passing it off as his work. When we confronted him with a specific, complex task, he ghosted us. We later found out he was logging hours for "work" done in the middle of the night, which was clearly just automated commits.
