"Vincent Helps Kickstart Legal Arguments and Opposition Drafts"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Clio Work?

I’m in Louisiana, so I’m unable to use Docket. That said, I’ve found Vincent helpful for getting me started and pointing me in the right direction when I’m putting together a legal argument or opposition. I do wish Clio Work could suggest tasks and automatically create event entries. It also gets quite expensive to have to purchase separate AI for Work and Manage, especially when not everyone in our firm needs access to both. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clio Work?

Vincent does not always create a usable Word document. Sometimes, I have to copy and paste in Word to be able to create the required spacing, legal size paper, font requirements for our jurisdiction. Docket does not include Louisiana. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Legal Assistant in Your Pocket"
4/5
What do you like best about Clio Work?

I use Clio Work for reviewing contracts and finding beneficial or detrimental language for my clients. I love the completeness and speed of Clio Work; it allows me to advocate quickly for my clients. The intuitiveness and ability to use plain language in prompts really stand out. It's like having a legal assistant in my pocket 24 hours a day, providing basic information quickly so I can get started with a solid basis. Clio Work's contractual language analysis was particularly appealing during my trial period, providing great information that made it worth adding to my subscription. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clio Work?

I'm not quite sold on the legal research part of Clio Work yet. I find it challenging to identify completeness in legal case law research, which is crucial for my work. Right now, I'm using Clio Work mainly for contractual language or to identify holes in client advocacy. I'm still relying on other products like Lexis for case law and statutory legal research because I haven't been convinced that Clio Work can completely replace those tools. "Clio Work Speeds Up Drafting with Matter-Aware Context and Verified Case Law"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Clio Work?

The biggest win for me is that Clio Work connects directly to the matter context inside Clio Manage, so I don’t have to manually copy and paste or upload confidential PDFs into some random browser tab.

I mainly use it for two things: digesting discovery documents and generating rough first drafts of motions and client memos. When I ask questions about an ongoing case, it pulls details straight from the matter’s uploaded documents, correspondence, and notes. I also appreciate that the research layer is backed by real, verified case law (via vLex), so I’m not wasting time double-checking for hallucinated citations. In practice, it can get me to a 70–80% complete draft in minutes, which removes a lot of the friction of starting from a blank page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clio Work?

It’s not entirely “set it and forget it”; you still need to be thoughtful with your prompting. If my prompt is too vague, the generated text can come out a bit formulaic, so I usually spend 10–15 minutes refining it to match my firm’s specific voice and local jurisdictional formatting. Also, when a matter folder has messy or poorly scanned documents, the OCR sometimes struggles to capture every fact cleanly on the first pass. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure, Direct Case Access Makes Clio Work a Truly Impressive Tool"
5/5
What do you like best about Clio Work?

The biggest advantage for me is that Vincent / Clio Work provides a secure, private, and direct connection to my case materials for the AI Prompts, standard workflows, and every other part of this powerful tool. I can’t overstate how valuable that is. There’s no need to download case materials, scrub them, and then re-upload them to a different platform. Clio Work’s platform is truly impressive, and right now there’s nothing else that comes close. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clio Work?

At times, the output is created for xls output, especially with tables. I would prefer a Setting to choose that as a default instead of dealing with it each time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Practical AI for Legal Research"
5/5
What do you like best about Clio Work?

What I like best about Clio Work is how it helps streamline legal research and drafting in one place. It saves time, keeps my work organized, and makes it easier to stay focused on the task at hand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clio Work?

What I dislike about Clio Work is that it can feel expensive and may not always justify the cost for every workflow. It also may not feel as flexible or deep as some users expect for advanced legal tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Task Management and Seamless Integration with Clio Work"
5/5
What do you like best about Clio Work?

I like everything about Clio Work. It's the integration with Clio Grow that's crucial for me, as it makes the applications to my cases very intuitive. All my information is readily accessible in Clio, which is super convenient. I also love the ability to scan multiple emails and attachments quickly to identify areas that need more detailed review. This feature is very helpful for speeding up my workflow. Plus, the ability to use the Outlook plugin to scan and upload a lot of information quickly is fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clio Work?

I think if Clio Work could remember how I like to format my pleadings and other template documents, it would make things a lot easier and cleaner. Right now, I have to take the output, revise it, and then reformat it into my Microsoft Word documents, which adds extra steps to my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptional Research and Seamless Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Clio Work?

I love that Clio Work writes as well as any law student and even outdoes many lawyers. I appreciate its ability to draft briefs in the format I prefer with the correct prompts. The accuracy of its research is something I really appreciate. It's returned no phantom citations so far. It's doing a great job distilling important facts from voluminous documents. I'm also like that it integrates seamlessly with Clio Manage, making the overall experience smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clio Work?

It's still cumbersome to get the program to review documents. Once you have it in there, it does a great job, but when I try to add documents from a matter in my system and go to a subdirectory, it's blank. I think support is working on this. In these instances, I have to switch to a file manager and drag documents over, which is inconvenient. There are some size limitations. Most importantly, I would like to see them add voice integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helpful AI Tool for Faster Legal Research and Case Work"
4/5
What do you like best about Clio Work?

I liked how Clio kept everything for each client matter organized in one place. I used it to manage case files, upload and maintain documents, track deadlines and outstanding actions, update client information, and keep the status of multiple matters visible. When managing a high volume of active cases, it made it much easier to stay organized, find information quickly, and reduce the risk of missing an important document, deadline, or follow-up. The value is strong for the price, especially when it is being used across multiple active matters. It saves time by keeping case information, documents, research, tasks, and follow-ups in one place, and the AI features can speed up document review and research. For a busy legal practice, the time saved on repetitive administrative and research work makes the cost worthwhile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clio Work?

One downside is that Clio can feel a little overwhelming when you are managing a large number of active matters. Some workflows take several clicks, and keeping documents, tasks, notes, and deadlines consistently organized requires good internal processes. I also found that certain administrative updates could feel repetitive, especially when working across many client files at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Legal Management, User-Friendly Interface"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Clio Work?

I like how easy it is to keep case files and documents organized with Clio Work. Everything is in one place, so I spend less time searching for information and more time actually working on cases. Clio Work helps me stay organized and makes day-to-day case management much easier. It saves time and keeps my workflow more organized by having everything related to a matter quickly accessible without jumping between different systems. Also, the initial setup was fairly easy, and once configured to match our workflow, getting the team started was straightforward. Our team has always complimented this tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clio Work?

A few features could be more flexible, especially when customizing workflows and organizing large case files. It can also take a little time to get used to some of the navigation and settings. I'd like more flexibility in customizing workflows and organizing documents based on how our team works. The navigation could be a bit more intuitive, with fewer clicks to get to frequently used files and settings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Everything at My Fingertips—Convenient, Direct File Editing"
5/5
What do you like best about Clio Work?

Having everything available right at my fingertips is really convenient. I don’t need to upload any items; I can work directly in the files instead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clio Work?

I haven’t found any downsides so far. Occasionally, it can take a few extra steps to reach the result I’m looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
