Overall it's a required tool to simplify and make sure the team all has a common practice for code reviews. **What do you dislike about ClearSQL?** too much content on the flowcharts, need a way to simplify this. Needs an easier interface to code review straight from the database. Needs autofix. **Recommendations to others considering ClearSQL:** The team uses the tool during code reviews, but an API to oracle sql developer even your own tool (SD) would be better. If i owned both SD and CS, would be nice to have all the functionality in SD. There is a limited version in SD. To convert my team to SD, we need to also have a better tool there. For our code review sessions, it would be nice to have a code review session area where we can have an assigned person to acknowledge the changes. **What problems is ClearSQL solving and how is that benefiting you?** It gives the team a common tool and way to see if their code passes reviews prior to meetings. ### 2. There are few PLSQL code analyzers available. What I liked best is the rules to analyze and code metrics. But there are a lot of great resources like CRUD, flowcharts, call trees. I'm realy impressed with flowcharts. The way it displays de flow, we can check each step of the flow if we point the mouse over the step. The rules are easy to understand and aplply, We can add our own code rules and apply ClearSQL and our own coding standards. **What do you dislike about ClearSQL?** What I disliked was the way to import files to the project. I think we could have some filters to easily add files to the project, if we have a folder with a lot of files it take some time to select the desired items and check them to include to the project. **Recommendations to others considering ClearSQL:** It's a great tool to improve code quality, check code complexity and understand the flow. It's realy easy tool to use, you can import to project files from local system or from database. You can do the code adjustements and write them back to the source. You can analyze Oracle Forms and libraries as well. I liked it very much! **What problems is ClearSQL solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are improving code quality, avoiding issues, and improve coding standards. Code complexity can also be checked and we can reduce code complexity and improve code readability. ### 3. One of the best database analyzers **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Margareth S. | Computer Technical Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2019 **What do you like best about ClearSQL?** I really like that it is a very powerful tool and that in addition to being an analyzer and dynamically, that is to say, it executes the program and while it is executing it, it studies its behavior in order to get an error or a problem. I also like very much that it is a tool that helps us to format, diagram and edit the databases, not only does it undergo analyzing and throwing a report but it also allows us to solve the problem at once from the same tool. The interface it has is very intuitive and simple to use, and we can also choose the rules of the review, so that based on what we parameterize, the tool executes the study of behavior, also allows us to create or manipulate diagrams of flows very dynamically and in addition to that it has full support for the databases developed in ORACLE. **What do you dislike about ClearSQL?** I do not like that it is a tool that today does not seem to have a very large community and that may have some problems when trying to solve a problem, but really the license price seems very consistent and besides that I think that technical support responds quite quickly to any questions that may arise. **Recommendations to others considering ClearSQL:** It is an economic tool and the truth is that it can save us a lot of problems in the future, I think it is an excellent tool when the constant manipulation of databases or the development of systems is necessary and with it we can compile in an analytical way and so Know what problems we have internal. **What problems is ClearSQL solving and how is that benefiting you?** Since I know this tool I have used it to be able to analyze the correct behavior of the applications that I develop or of the databases that I manage to avoid any inconvenience in the future, it is ideal for when significant changes are made in any system or base of data and thus know that these changes did not imply the damage of any function within the system or any data stored in the database. ### 4. SQL Analszer showed the flowcharts and calling objects.
