An integrated end to end solution that helps administrators enforce consistent access policies, rapidly troubleshoot security events and summarize reports.

All the connected devices must be sink with same date and time otherwise there will be mismatch in reports

Hard to find all devices health reports in one place, it's centralized dashboard resoved this issue,

**What do you like best about Cisco Security Manager?**

The product lets customers share Slack collaboration tools with external partners or organizations. 
It can quickly detect suspicious movements, analyze network traffic, and respond quickly when threats are identified. IT teams can simply create and enforce extensive application policies for all managed devices.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Security Manager?**

The cost is very high. Sometimes, delivered & undeliverable emails are not showing in the mail tracker. Dashboard and map need upgrading. There are some issues with network devices attempting to connect.

**What problems is Cisco Security Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cisco provides email security detection and blocking threats such as malware, spam, and phishing. Cisco Security Manager (CSM) helps troubleshoot security events. Used throughout the entire organization. CSM makes centralized message tracking simple and easy. Message graphs and summaries of incoming emails we can view and export through Cisco Email Security.

I like the way it helps error-free deployments. We can reuse the security rules and objects. We can monitor security threats easily, and it provides a user-friendly environment.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Security Manager?**

Sometimes it is not good at handling  Out-of-Band Changes.

Troubleshooting of security events, managing devices in the network are some problems we solve using Cisco Security Manager.

To be able to manage all security features from my firewalls and IPS/IDS devices

It was limited only to security. The performance was limited and dashboard wasn't very friendly

CSM is a great solution is your focus and your skills are strongly based on Security. You can integrate it with CSA to extend de security reach to endpoint devices and make posture evaluation and even AV scans

**What problems is Cisco Security Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems mostly to  detect initial threats and malfunctions on my security devices

it seems to take forever to implement updates to large configurations. I'm  talking over an hour slow.

searching for existing ACLs which can updated to allow new access.

CSM provides a separate network security management environment suite with much flexibility and integration into the existing network

**What do you dislike about Cisco Security Manager?**

Some third party and other vendors equipment were not fully supported in CSM suite

Using AD services and combo will add flexibility is solution is deployed on different physical locations

With CSM we address and managed the network security level activities and issues and managed through single tool

The ability to manage devices in a single GUI is time saving.

In larger organization, the number of devices managed goes up a significant number. Which slows down the performance of the tool.

I don't have to redo all the basic configurations on each of the devices I maange. Thus reducing the resources required to perform a task.

**What do you like best about Cisco Security Manager?**

Excellent platform that allows to carry out the administration of business security in one place, that is why I like this software, since with just entering our platform with our username and password from anywhere we can monitor, prevent and ensure security connections based on our Cisco account and all thanks to the fact that it gives us the right tools to manage a centralized administration, being this very easy to understand thanks to its simple interface.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Security Manager?**

When entering the platform tends to throw faults delaying the entry to it and often does not allow entry for more than 24 hours. 

**Recommendations to others considering Cisco Security Manager:**

If you want to be able to track your devices or equipment to know if they are working properly or if they are truly being protected this is the best solution because you can manage the security of all of them in one place.

It is a tool that has allowed us to view in detail any strange event, as well as to manage in a much simpler way the security of all the equipment or devices that we keep protected with Cisco.

**What do you like best about Cisco Security Manager?**

The main reason why I like this software is because it is very simple but powerful, it is able to keep our computers away from any intrusion in them, it offers a centralized and scalable administration, it is very easy to use, it provides high visibility, it is very efficient and safe and ideal to monitor the status of each team as well as its performance and the best thing is that it is super customizable, which is why it is so efficient to be implemented at the business level regardless of the size of these companies.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Security Manager?**

Its integrations are really limited since it only allows integrations with Cisco tools, so I think it would be great if they were much more extensive.

With this great software carry out the administration of business security is much simpler and more effective because the features it provides are really very complete and you can say goodbye to the challenges that we face every day with security problems that can make collapse any company.

Having this software in our company has been really beneficial since the power to manage our security in a much simpler way allows us to save money, it gives us a better vision of each device and business team because we can obtain extremely detailed reports and other essential information compiled to throughout the deployment of security, as well as monitor the performance and performance of them and resolve any challenge safely and effectively.

**What do you like best about Cisco Security Manager?**

The interface is pretty easy to use and most of the features I have to use a lot! I think it's event management tools are what we use the most and I find it most helpful in terms of providing rapid navigation from events to source policies

**What do you dislike about Cisco Security Manager?**

Having to use a secure log in at all is a minor annoyance in that it takes extra time and raises the risk of your operation timing out during the security process. But Cisco made it as painless as possible. It also does not allow integration with other platforms from other providers that are not Cisco.

**Recommendations to others considering Cisco Security Manager:**

For automating security management processes of all devices in the network, this is a great project

I found the security manager simple to use, while also trusting in its data- protecting abilities.

We work with highly sensitive data. Protecting clients right to privacy is of the utmost importance. Cisco security manager allows us to work from home or on the go while still providing protection for our clients.

Cisco security manager is a good solution to troubleshoot security events and it produces a very detailed and visual report at the end of each event.

There's a learning curve with the product especially if you're converting from another platform and is a bit buggy sometimes

I like how you can access real-time views at anytime. The custom reports is a great feature too so you can personalize it for your needs. I felt safe when it was in use.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Security Manager?**

I honestly didn't have any dislikes about the brand, I guess the price wasn't right because we only had a trial for this product. (I wasn't responsible for the costs or charges so I don't have any knowledge regarding this)

It's great for security and to see past activities, if needed. I would definitely recommend this to other companies!

I like the custom reports it generates. You can also select to have that report auto-sent to your email.

Reaching their IT services is a longwinded process and it takes time out of my work day.

I would do your research and see if there are other programs out there that can help you generate reports before purchasing this service.

The custom reports did help us to get data required by management faster than our prior program.

It allows you to comply with monitoring and reporting regulations. We can achieve enhanced network security and improved IT/security operations.

Ease of use. You just need to select server location and authenticate and you are done. It's just two step process.

The disconnect part. Sometimes it gets hanged when disconnecting and takes forever. One needs to quit and restart.
