How much does CircleCI cost in 2026?

According to G2 data, CircleCI pricing in 2026 starts at $15.00 and can reach $2,000.00 depending on the selected plan. Pricing may vary based on billing terms or usage, so users should review the CircleCI's official pricing page for the most current details.

Who is CircleCI pricing best suited for?

CircleCI's pricing structure is best suited for small businesses and mid-market software and IT teams based on G2 reviewer demographics. G2 reviewers from small businesses frequently highlight the free tier as ideal for indie developers and startups validating pipelines before committing to paid plans. The Performance tier suits growing teams needing more concurrency and user seats. Mid-market companies in computer software, IT services, financial services, and healthcare dominate the review base and report strong value from paid tiers. The Scale and Self-Hosted Server tiers target enterprises requiring GPU resources, compliance controls, and dedicated support, with G2 enterprise reviewers in banking, utilities, and cosmetics confirming successful adoption at that level.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of CircleCI?

CircleCI's free tier provides up to 6,000 build minutes monthly, supports Docker, Windows, Linux, Arm, and macOS environments, and allows up to 30 concurrent jobs with test splitting. G2 reviewers widely praise this as sufficient for small or personal projects. CircleCI's paid Performance plan, starting at $15/month, adds 6,000 bonus minutes, 5 user seats, larger resource classes, and up to 80 concurrent jobs. The Scale tier at $2,000/month unlocks GPU resource classes, customizable billing, audit logging, and 24/7 dedicated support. G2 users specifically flag that advanced features like Docker layer caching are locked behind paid tiers, often driving upgrade decisions.

Is CircleCI considered good value for its pricing?

CircleCI's overall rating of 4.5/5 on G2 suggests strong satisfaction, though value perception varies by team size and usage patterns. G2 reviewers frequently praise the generous free tier and competitive pricing compared to alternatives like Jenkins and Travis CI. However, cost concerns are a recurring theme, particularly around Docker layer caching credits, macOS build minutes, and per-user seat pricing. Several G2 users note that costs escalate quickly for teams with complex or unoptimized pipelines. Mid-market reviewers in telecommunications and IT services highlight strong ROI from automation savings, while some small business reviewers report switching away due to expense, with a few comparing CircleCI unfavorably to GitHub Actions on cost grounds.

What do you like best about CircleCI?

It is really simple to use, integrate with other technologies, and has great documentation to follow. Someone coming from the DevOps/Sysadmin role, with a little knowledge can easily connect the dots on what CircleCI offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CircleCI?

The docker layer cache and IP ranges seem to be a bit too expensive for usage. I'm not saying it doesn't work actually, it does, but the price is kinda expensive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
