"The best Mobile Dev Tools (Even better than Safari)"
What do you like best about Chrome Mobile DevTools?

Chrome's Dev Tools are a tool I discovered by accident one day. It was the best accident of this year so far.

What I love most about the dev tools is:

- the ability to see the animation time on a graphic representation for timing

- easily create preset device dimensions and ratios

- very flexible way to develop on Windows and Mac platforms

- preview media queries extremely quickly

Chrome's dev tools are a godsend for those of us that used to install browser plugins for firefox back in the day that would barely give us the ability to inspect CSS let alone change it on the fly and be able to copy and paste it from the browser to our code editor. What do you dislike about Chrome Mobile DevTools?

When it's great, it's great. When it's not, there's no fixing it.

I don't like that I have to have the developer tools window open to enable it. Maybe there is another way but a lot of the functionality seems to just be find on your own and learn on your own. Safari has a much nicer interface for the mobile dev tools and I wish Chrome had something like that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A great option!"
What do you like best about Chrome Mobile DevTools?

Being able to evaluate my site’s performance using the network emulator, without affecting traffic to other tabs and possibly losing users along the way from frustration. Usually while remote debugging a mobile device, you had to shift your eyes back and forth between the device and your desktop computer; now Screencast displays your device's screen right inside of Chrome DevTools on your desktop to make it a lot easier to work with. What do you dislike about Chrome Mobile DevTools?

Although Chrome's device mode offers many powerful emulation tools, it does have some limitations. ◦GPU and CPU behavior are not emulated. MathML is not supported in Chrome, but is supported on iOS 7 devices.

The iOS 5 orientation zoom bug is not emulated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Thorough"
What do you like best about Chrome Mobile DevTools?

I love how you can connect an Android device via USB and debug mobile visual components directly from a computer. Paired with the power of Chrome DevTools, you are able to debug HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with ease, in real-time, and down to a fine-tuned level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Chrome Mobile DevTools?

There's no way to use Chrome DevTools on mobile iOS devices (iPad, iPhone)—you have to use Safari instead, which is less feature-rich. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All in one tool for Android Chrome debugging"
What do you like best about Chrome Mobile DevTools?

It pretty much has it all, remote debugging your test website, your obfuscated one, etc. It offers a lot of tools to easily manage Chrome on Android and do what needs to be done to offer to the user the experience they deserve. And that includes access to the console, command line, and pretty much everything else you expect to find on the desktop version of its counterpart. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Chrome Mobile DevTools?

It may not be easy to setup at first, and somewhat requires sometimes a bit of know-how, since everything is not wysiwyg. Maybe for some it will lack the all-in-one graphic aspect some devs might not need. Some typing required sometimes to get to the bottom line of what a problem might be. "A first-class mobile web debugging tool"
What do you like best about Chrome Mobile DevTools?

The debugging tools built into the web inspector are broad, powerful and well designed. Chrome Mobile DevTools brings all this power to Android mobile debugging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Chrome Mobile DevTools?

Lack of support for Mobile Safari, that being said this really isn't something that Google can do anything about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
