What do you like best about Chift?

What we like best about Chift is how quickly it took us from zero to live. Onboarding was fast and hands-on, the documentation is clear, and the sandbox environments for each connector let us test real data flows before touching a customer. Because Chift exposes one unified API across a long list of accounting packages (Yuki, Exact, Pennylane, Odoo, Business Central and more), we integrated once and unlocked many systems at the same time. That turned what would have been months of per-connector work into a matter of weeks. The API itself is consistent and predictable, so the same endpoints for journal entries, invoices and payments behave the same way regardless of the underlying software. The developer experience is good: sensible pagination, clean data models, and a support team that answers technical questions quickly. For a small team that needs broad integration coverage without a dedicated integrations squad, Chift has been a real plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Chift?

The main thing is that not every connector is equal. The API is the same everywhere, but what you actually get back depends a lot on the accounting package behind it. Some give you full journal detail and payment history, others only part of it, so we still ended up writing connector-specific workarounds. You also inherit the rate limits of the underlying software, so pulling a few years of history from one particular package took way longer than expected. There is an integration matrix in the docs, but it stays high-level per endpoint. It doesn't tell you things like whether payment links come through, how far back history goes, or which fields are actually populated, so we found most of that out by trial and error. But to be fair, whenever we raised something the team got back to us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
