## About ChatShield
ChatShield is a browser-based AI governance tool that prevents staff from accidentally sharing sensitive client data with ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI chat tools. Built for UK law and accounting firms, ChatShield sits in the browser and scans every message before it is submitted. When sensitive content is detected (client names, matter codes, personal data, financial figures), the message is blocked or flagged before it reaches the AI tool.
