## About ChatbotIQ
ChatbotIQ is a SaaS platform for building AI assistants over documentation, help centers, and knowledge bases using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). It crawls and indexes a customer&#39;s content, including JavaScript-heavy sites, PDFs, spreadsheets, and OpenAPI specs, then answers end-user questions from that content with source citations. Retrieval uses hybrid search with premium reranking, and the platform blocks ungrounded answers, fabricated links, and prompt-injection attempts. It includes analytics for identifying documentation gaps and a human hand-off feature for escalating to support agents. Assistants can be deployed as an embeddable website widget with extensive customization (colors, fonts, logo, greeting, launcher style, layout, and assistant personality), through a REST API, as an MCP server, or in Slack, and can use models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, and Google. Data is processed in the EU with GDPR features built in. Market position: mid-tier (enterprise quality, self-service price tag).
