To answer your question about playwriting: yes, Celtx is absolutely built to industry standards, but stageplays are unique because theater actually has two different accepted formats! We support both the American standard (where character names are centered) and the International standard (where names are flush left). Because the editor view often defaults to one style, it can sometimes look a bit unexpected. However, you can easily toggle between the American and International formats right inside your Print and Download preview settings before you export your PDF. We have a quick guide in our Help Center that walks you through exactly how to adjust these settings and get the perfect layout for your production I've attached if you need more guidance, and you're always welcome to reach out to our support team if you get stuck!
