It's a very good application for writing Electronic Lab Notebooks and keeping records of chemical reactions. The interface is easy to use. I especially like the "link" feature which helps keep a record of all previous experiments. One can attach pictures and important files too. The internal structure editor needs improvement. The features feel scattered, and drawing structures can get confusing at times. "While CDD Vault is very user-friendly overall, I find that bulk data uploads can require extra formatting, and some of the reporting/visualization options feel a little limited compared to dedicated analysis tools. For very large datasets, performance can occasionally slow down. Still, these are relatively minor compared to the value it brings in centralizing and securing research data."
