## CD.Training Reviews
  ### 1. Great way to introduce yourself into TDD

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Serdar C. | Co founder, CTO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2025

**What do you like best about CD.Training?**

The course starts with the basics, using simple example projects that you build yourself, followed by clear and to-the-point explanation videos. It then gradually progresses into more advanced techniques, including refactoring legacy codebases.

Along the way, Dave Farley shares tons of practical insights and recommendations drawn from his years of hands-on experience — the kind of advice you don’t often get from textbooks.

Until that course testing is something vague in my mind and now i can fully understand the testing lifecycle.

**What do you dislike about CD.Training?**

well nothing that i can think of. but just keep in mind that the amount of information is huge and you'll need some time to consume this amount of information. This course is not something you can just grind quickly.

**What problems is CD.Training solving and how is that benefiting you?**

High quality education on lots of different software development

  ### 2. Great primer on ATDD

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brent F. | Director, Software Engineering, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2025

**What do you like best about CD.Training?**

Great primer on ATDD - A clear vision of the what, liberates changes in the how. Dave goes through every aspect of ATDD with clarity, examples, support and conciseness. 5/5

**What do you dislike about CD.Training?**

As it is a primer, there would still be many questions that pop up in real life that you'd need to learn about and it could take a while and many mistakes to get good at. This would make it challenging to succeed in a high pressure environment.

**What problems is CD.Training solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CD.Training solved the problem of creating a reference application for ATDD. The training and the reference app provided me with enough to create my own reference application. learn the benefits of separating the what from the how, and provide a starting point for further work with teams here.

  ### 3. A Must-Have Resource for Mastering Continuous Delivery

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos S. | Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2025

**What do you like best about CD.Training?**

Dave Farley presents a practical and realistic approach to building better software, faster. His books and video content are essential resources for any software developer seeking a professional understanding of Continuous Delivery. The videos complement his books perfectly, offering clear, step-by-step examples that help improve your skills while avoiding common pitfalls in the software development process.

**What do you dislike about CD.Training?**

There is nothing to critique about this course at the moment.

**What problems is CD.Training solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CD.Training addresses the common challenges developers face when trying to implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) correctly. In my case, it has been especially helpful by providing clear explanations, real-world examples, and practical guidance. This has significantly improved my understanding of TDD and helped me apply it more effectively in my daily work.

  ### 4. Dave Farley is a reference in modern sw development

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matteo R. | Agile Coach and Technical Agility Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2025

**What do you like best about CD.Training?**

Dave Farley is a point of reference in the world of modern software development. His way of explaining is very effective and this can be seen both in the public videos on YT and even more in the courses available on courses.cd.training where, among many, there are also very useful training on TDD and ATDD, practices that are far from obsolete even in the current era of generative AI

**What do you dislike about CD.Training?**

High quality technology training, these days, is often at risk to be outdated in a matter of weeks. Luckily you can rely on the ContinuousDelivery Youtube channel. Moreover, this training is about methods and principles, not only mere techniques, so they remain valuable for years.

**What problems is CD.Training solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Technical training.

  ### 5. Changed my Software Engineering Carrer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diogo A. | Full Stack Developer / Sysadmin, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2025

**What do you like best about CD.Training?**

I enrolled only on the free TDD course and it "blew my mind" right away. As of taken only the free course last year, it changed completely how I approach software development, and I can say that I have a much healthier work-life balance as a result of following this practice

**What do you dislike about CD.Training?**

The paid courses are somewhat expensive for my income level.

**What problems is CD.Training solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It teaches a modern approach to Software Development. The author already creates a lot of free content, bringing industry experts to his Youtube channel, and his Engineering Room podcast. He also have a few hogh quality free courses that show that the paid ones are probably worth the price.

  ### 6. If you want to deliver better software faster, these are cources for you!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ján P. | Backend Team Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2025

**What do you like best about CD.Training?**

Clear and concise explanation of problems and ways to solve them.
Practical tasks you can do on your own.
Ability to return to previous videos and reflect on my experiences practising CD.

**What do you dislike about CD.Training?**

The course is on the pricy end of the scale, which makes it hard to promote to colleagues or friends.

**What problems is CD.Training solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It teached me how to write more maintainable, less brittle code.

  ### 7. comprehensive introduction to TDD and CD

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nigel B. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about CD.Training?**

Explained well in plain English with relevant images

**What do you dislike about CD.Training?**

I prefer listening to technical teaching with closed captions on but these are not available. Could be added in these days of AI transcription.

**What problems is CD.Training solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Smooth software development

  ### 8. Excellent course to level-up your Software Engineering skills

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Salvatore P. | Technical Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2025

**What do you like best about CD.Training?**

Best practices to write automated acceptance tests (the 4 layer model), and the concrete examples.

**What do you dislike about CD.Training?**

It would be nice to have a chapter or lesson with a complete deployment pipeline example.

**What problems is CD.Training solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automated software acceptance testing.

  ### 9. Amazing

Some of the best course material out there

**What do you dislike about CD.Training?**

Have to keep yourself acountable to get the most out of the course. As with everything with online learning.

**What problems is CD.Training solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CI/CD

  ### 10. Deliveries more than promised

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diego M. | Senior backend Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

I have been looking for an advanced course for a while and finally found one worth it.
The pace is nice and the depth is great.

**What do you dislike about CD.Training?**

Nothing that I can think of now.
Really satisfied

**What problems is CD.Training solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improving my technical and engineering management skills.
